Yan Yu Chong Lou is a city. Legend has it that tens of thousands of people from the arcane sects live in the city's countless towers. A veil of ancient mystery hangs over this little city, as if it were shrouded in endless drizzle. Among the many towers is one that seems unremarkable, yet enjoys great renown among the arcane sects. It trains the sects' finest arcane masters and is the place young disciples from every sect yearn to attend. It is known as the Arcane Masters' Pavilion. This is the story of Dongfang Qingming from his youth to early adulthood, back when he wasn't yet an old monster. Not wuxia, but fantasy with supernatural folklore. (I don't know why the fantasy category is gone, so I can only put it under xianxia.) The Chong Lou Arc follows an ensemble cast, with everyone as the protagonist and every character getting their time on the page. The Three Lives Arc begins with the leader's individual perspective. It will also reveal the origins of Mu Yu, Chen Yuan, and Feng. Don't trust the romance in this story. The romance is a trap. There may be couples everywhere, or even threesomes, but nothing will ever be confirmed. Theme: The young should be kindhearted and study for the sake of the world.
