Hello, Beautiful Friend

When Xia Yun was little, a very handsome older boy often came over to her house. Kids like people who are good-looking, and Xia Yun was no exception. She thought of him as her very best friend.

Only when she grew up did she learn that the older boy wasn't her friend at all. He was her mother's "handsome friend."

By then, Xia Yun had become a top-tier star among newcomers, while that "handsome friend" had become an A-list celebrity. Whether he appeared in a movie or a TV series, he always got top billing and never played second fiddle.

But Xia Yun resented him, and resented her own naive younger self too. She insisted on making him second-billed, and even used her mother's position as an investor to bully him on set from time to time.

Only later did she realize that she had already fallen for him as a child. Everything that followed was just her getting angry out of embarrassment after her cover was blown.

"We meet again, big brother. Oh, no, I should say... uncle," the newly crowned top-tier starlet cornered the highly respected veteran in an empty lounge. "Long time no see. Has your asking price... gone up again?"
