The Socially Anxious God Observer

The more obsessed Tang Shengjia is with studying biology, the more socially anxious he is. When he stepped out of the laboratory, he realized the world had changed. A dark figure curled up in the foggy corner of the music room. The student sitting beside him had a lump growing out of their spine, with an eyeball on it. The final exam question had become, "Touch all nine pillars at the same time"... Everything was so bizarre that Tang Shengjia was thrilled. When you gaze upon the indescribable, your sanity is being eaten away too. Like everyone else, Tang Shengjia periodically went insane during his encounters with the demon gods. In his perception at that moment, he was a feeder, and the figure before him was a many-legged creature from the deep sea. The other "feeders" nearby had already lost their minds and were charging forward in a frenzy. * "Um." Tang Shengjia fought through his hunger, gritted his teeth, and timidly approached the one at the edge. "C-could I take a bite out of you?" "No." He heard a pleasant voice refuse without hesitation. "Th-then, I'll ask you again tomorrow." * The next day. "Can I bite you?" "It'll hurt if you bite me." "I'm sorry! Then, then I'll ask the one in the music room." As he turned to leave, a coarse, dry tentacle touched Tang Shengjia's back, while warm, moist lips brushed the tip of his ear. "Tang Shengjia, take a good look at who I am." * 1. Lovecraftian horror, with lots of personal headcanon. Not scary, more silly. 2. A polite, purely socially anxious biology fanatic x a mysterious occult hater who levels up at rocket speed 3. Both the gong and the shou start out human. 4. The gong isn't big and strong, but the shou is. I wrote about an incubus, so now I'm writing this. Theme: Stop pointless overthinking and make peace with your inborn emotions.
