After My Archenemy Became an Omega

[Mainly from the pursuer's perspective: childish pursuer x calm and dependable partner]

Ruan Mingqiao is a high-level Alpha, outstanding in strength, looks, and family background.

He has a sworn enemy named Cheng Wuyu. They're evenly matched and can't stand each other. Supposedly, even as babies, they spat at each other.

1. After the college entrance exams, Ruan Mingqiao and Cheng Wuyu arranged to fight in the woods. But Cheng Wuyu unexpectedly underwent a second differentiation and became an Omega. Ruan Mingqiao was caught off guard and knocked out by Cheng Wuyu's pheromones.

Their match ended without a winner.

2. They both chose the same military academy and agreed to settle things during the entrance exams. But their older schoolmates turned out to be awful, so the two had to join forces against them, becoming famous after one battle.

They still didn't get to fight.

3. On the first day of school, Ruan Mingqiao squatted by the entrance, ready to ambush Cheng Wuyu. He waited from dusk until dusk, but Cheng Wuyu never showed up to register.

Rumor had it Cheng Wuyu's parents had confined him at home and were forcing him to change his application, insisting he attend a mainstream Omega school instead. Furious, Ruan Mingqiao went over and broke Cheng Wuyu out.

Cheng Wuyu was deeply moved.

Ruan Mingqiao: We haven't finished our fight. Don't even think about running!

4. Someone at school spread malicious rumors about Cheng Wuyu, saying that an Omega like him had ulterior motives for attending a military academy. Ruan Mingqiao was furious. He dealt with the rumor-spreader and made sure Cheng Wuyu never found out.

When people on the forum secretly shipped the two of them, Ruan Mingqiao replied with a straight face that they were sworn enemies, then reported the post and raided the fans' stash of fanworks.

When Cheng Wuyu's pheromones became unstable and he needed an Alpha's help, Ruan Mingqiao gladly offered himself. When Cheng Wuyu was dragged into an arranged marriage, Ruan Mingqiao simply took him home.

Why?

Ruan Mingqiao declared righteously: He's my sworn enemy!
