Hand the Salted Fish System Over to the State

In the year 6666 of the Star Calendar, Earth's resources vanish into thin air, bringing the planet to the brink of extinction.

A group of beings calling themselves gods descend. They allow Earthlings to take out loans and open the gates to the Ghost Domain.

Countless Earthlings enter the Ghost Domain, awaken supernatural abilities, and complete missions to earn points, which they can exchange for the resources they need to survive.

As a major in the Empire, Ruan Mingyuan charges straight into the Ghost Domain.

He makes outstanding contributions to Earth.

They say that on the day he retires due to injury,

all the ghosts weep to see him off.

"At last, that damn plague god is gone."

Ruan Mingyuan recuperates in a little country house he bought with his earnings.

The aura he gives off sends the laid-back System into a frenzy.

Beep! The Laid-Back System is now bound.

Ruan Mingyuan: "Get lost. They call me the king of overwork!"

He promptly hands the System over to the state.

The state discovers that the Laid-Back System's warehouse has everything:

food, water, minerals, weapons...

Complete missions and earn points,

and you can bring it all home.

It's billions of times better than taking out loans from those charlatans.

Ruan Mingyuan is forced to follow orders and take it easy.

He also gets a longtime rival assigned to keep an eye on him.

The two of them used to compete over who could work harder.

Ruan Mingyuan eats, and Mu Qiu blends his food into mush with a high-powered blender.

Ruan Mingyuan walks, and Mu Qiu insists on putting him in a powered wheelchair.

Ruan Mingyuan goes to pee, and Mu Qiu eagerly brandishes a catheter.

Ruan Mingyuan: "??? Is that any way to treat a person?"

Later, on their wedding night,

Mu Qiu: "..."

Ruan Mingyuan: "What are you waiting for? Get on and do it yourself."
