Becoming the Short-Lived Heir's Male Wife of Good Fortune

Xu Qingyu was unlucky enough to transmigrate into an old-fashioned sweet romance novel as a vicious, disposable male supporting character.

The original body's heart belonged to the second son of the An Yang Marquis's household, the male lead. He married into the marquis's household as a sickly man's groom, meant to bring good fortune to the male lead's ailing older brother, only to turn around and pester the male lead again and again.

The heir of the An Yang Marquis's household had been frail since childhood. Doctors said he wouldn't live past twenty. The Marchioness refused to believe them and would rather find someone to marry her son for good luck, hoping only that he might survive. Unfortunately, in the original story, this graceful and exceptionally handsome heir still passed away three months after the wedding.

Xu Qingyu: This doesn't seem too bad. My mother-in-law is beautiful and kind, my husband is short-lived, and I have a generous dowry. I'm willing to spend my whole life widowed for my short-lived husband. It's just that my annoying little brother-in-law keeps popping up to make his presence felt.

Three months later,

Xu Qingyu: Why hasn't my short-lived husband died yet?

The Marchioness: I knew Qingyu was a lucky one. From now on, you'll be the benefactor of our whole family.

The heir: Thank you, A Yu, for bringing me good fortune with this marriage.

Author's note:

(1) I haven't written in a long time, so I'm planning to get back into it with a sweet marriage-first, love-later story. It'll probably be a low-drama, food-filled sweet romance, with the leads doting on each other.

(2) This is not a pregnancy story.
