All revisions are complete, with many details added. Feel free to read it again from the beginning.
The writing is average, so if that bothers you, this may not be for you.
New chapters every night at nine. See you then!
(The blurb was revised many times, but in the end I used the first draft.)
Yun Yiyao, a brilliant dance prodigy adored by everyone, could have any guy she wanted. Yet she fell for Peng Huiqing, the hardest guy in school to win over.
"Peng Huiqing, will you be my boyfriend?"
"Oh, you don't want to? Then I'll ask you again tomorrow."
No matter how beautiful Yun Yiyao was, no one believed she could really win him over.
As everyone expected, Yun Yiyao went abroad, and the two wound up far apart, one in the north and one in the south.
Years later, the poor boy had become the CEO of a publicly listed company, while the once-glamorous goddess had fallen on hard times.
When they met again, she was being given a hard time by a client and was in a sorry state. The man stepped in just in time to help her out.
Their strength was worlds apart. He forced her into his car, sneering, "What is it? How's life as an ordinary person, Miss?"
Knowing she was in the wrong, she said nothing. Her eyes stung, and tears began to fall despite her best efforts.
The man showed no sympathy. Instead, he tightened his grip on her. "Yun Yiyao, how dare you cry in front of me? No matter how you look at it, I wasn't the one in the wrong between us."
Everyone thought that Peng Huiqing, the one being relentlessly pursued, had always had the upper hand in their relationship. Then, at a party one night, the man got drunkenly, painfully honest in front of everyone.
He set aside his pride and practically begged. "Yun Yiyao, could you give in for me just once?"
The woman kept her face cold and strode away.
She left him with only one sentence. "You couldn't have me when I loved you. Are you sure you want to ask now, when I don't?"
In an instant, the man's pride was shattered into pieces.
Mutual crush and unrequited love, woman pursues man, one-on-one, both leads' first times
The heroine is initially a naive, sweet, lively, and warm-hearted girl.
The hero is a wealthy heir who made his fortune from scratch. He's decent, devoted, and steadfast in love.
Note:
1. The blurb went through many revisions, but in the end I still used the first draft.
2. This isn't a story about a playboy reforming, and there's no groveling arc.
3. The heroine is career-minded. The story focuses on a woman's growth.
Theme: I never meant to catch a falling star, but somehow it found its way into my heart.
Happy birthday to the author!!! Just saw this article, belated blessing!!
Happy belated birthday to the author
It's a belated post. I've been busy with my summer job recently, and I'm exhausted every day (T_T)
Sorry, it was a typo, it was level six.
