[Ultraman] A Promise in the Radiance

"I'm not a follower of Belial. Don't get us mixed up." Xiluo shrugged and waved to the rookie Ultra Warrior. "Want to fight side by side? Ultraman Z!" Yaohui watched as the girl he'd fallen in love with at first sight, the kindest girl he'd ever met, transformed into a familiar light. Then the female warrior unleashed her family's signature wild fighting style and punched Gilbaris dozens of meters away. At that moment, inside the Ultra Black Room, Yaohui exclaimed: "Sugoi!" "So, you don't want to team up with me?" Xiluo asked in dismay, looking at the motionless Z. Yaohui: "That's not it! Osu! Let's go!!!" Z: Why is Yaohui suddenly so fired up? This is Ultra exciting! * (Asakura Sei's perspective) So, that's how I first met Yaohui-san and Z-san. As Belial's daughter from a parallel universe, a year after officially severing ties with my father, Gilbaris cut off my bonds and my father's remaining followers tricked me into coming to this universe. I don't know what they're after, but right now, protecting this planet is what matters most! Seeing the rookie warrior struggling in battle, I decided to bring out the Fusion Rise-izer, in keeping with the principle of looking after those who came after me. I just didn't expect it to shock them so much. (Sei shrugs.) Huh? Why is Yaohui-san blushing? * (Yaohui's perspective) Love at first sight is so embarrassing! I never expected Sei to be an Ultraman, and she's so strong, too! Osu, now I don't have to hide it from her! How about asking her to watch the sunrise with me on my next day off? Osu! Z-san, do you have any intel on Sei? If I keep working to sync with Z-san, maybe I'll get even stronger and be able to protect Sei and everyone else. Sei's so cute when she blushes, too. She's really easy to tease! * OOC warning! All the tragic backstory is up front. In this story, the heroine's companions in her original universe all died at the hands of the movie version of Gilbaris. (No other Ultraman came to help, and they had to make do with just two capsules!) Warning! Yaohui is sweet on the outside and scheming underneath! A real old hand at being devious! The chapters after she meets Yaohui will lean toward lighthearted comedy! The heroine is another ridiculously overpowered character! There will be a sibling-like relationship with Riku! Sei and Jugglus Juggler will be good friends! The CP is Yaohui! Canon pairings will be broken!!! Don't read if that bothers you!!! Yoko will help them get together!!! Maybe I'll finish it someday. Theme: What I cherish with all my heart are distant light and promises.
