The Federation Military Academy’s Beta Belle

The bottom thinks he's an ordinary beta: he goes to school and works part-time, and passes through a world where alphas and omegas are constantly getting it on.

In this age, which increasingly champions the freedom to love and the idea that a soul connection matters more than pheromones, more and more alphas and omegas are rejecting the Federation's compulsory matchmaking.

As an employee of the Federation's General Bureau of Alpha-Omega Compatibility Surveys, the bottom's job is to persuade these alphas and omegas to give the Federation's assigned matchmaking system a try.

For some reason, every alpha or omega who strongly objects suddenly goes quiet after seeing his face, then starts asking eagerly about the matchmaking process.

Soon, the bottom faces the biggest challenge of his career: the Federation Marshal XX, an alpha pain in the ass who makes a big deal out of everything and harasses him after work.

For instance, in the middle of the night, he messages:

'What kind of date spot would you recommend, junior?'

'Could you teach me how to tie a bow tie, junior?'

'What kind of alpha do you think people like these days, junior?'

'Do you prefer being on top or on the bottom, junior?'

The bottom: '...?'

Everyone knows the flower of the Federation Military Academy is a beta with no pheromones.

He has surpassed the public's expectations of betas, outshining a crowd of alphas to become the academy's top student.

During his years leading the Federation's mecha division, the training grounds were filled with pheromones released by alphas who couldn't resist during their rut.

But he couldn't smell a thing.

The Federation Marshal once spoke about the past, admitting for the first time that he had been in love with someone at school. That person was every alpha at the academy's dream lover, and was the reason he kept refusing the Federation's assigned matchmaking.

The beta sitting across from him nodded. 'So that's what it was? I wonder who that omega was. If they're interested in matchmaking, I can apply to arrange a match for you through the system.'
