As a young woman, Mu Zizhi lived boldly and without restraint, relying on her family's scholarly heritage and her own quick mind. A design project brought her together with Qin She, a developer who had spent over a decade in the business world and saw nothing but costs and budgets.
Though they each had their own plans, the two grew from strangers into confidants, only to end up separated by the ends of the earth.
Twenty years later, Mu Zizhi returned to her home country laden with honors. Another design project brought her face-to-face with him again.
After twenty years apart, with both of them having lived rich and varied personal lives, could they join hands and start over?
Everything in the past seems like a passing cloud. Looking back now, it all feels rather absurd.
They were reckless in their youth, and in the end, they were cast adrift in a foreign land.
After being separated by a river of time, can they really join hands and begin again?
Who was innocent, and whose fault was it?
P.S. I really don't know how to write a blurb, so this will have to do. I've basically finished the story; all that's left is fixing typos, so don't worry, I won't abandon it.
Also, I've had a rough time scraping by in the design industry, so I set the story in that world and took the opportunity to vent about the bleak reality facing designers today.
There are only a dozen or so chapters left. Tomorrow is the thirtieth, and the story will be finished. There are 46 chapters in all. I'll post the rest tomorrow. Finally, wishing everyone a happy New Year!
