Phoenix is an unlucky man who lives up to his name.
He has witnessed wars among the gods, their downfall, the reorganization of human society, and the origins and rise of civilizations.
Again and again, he dies in accidents and disasters. Along the way, he has seen humanity's deceit and wickedness, been killed over and over, and watched others die time and again.
When he opens his eyes once more, he finds himself in the same human world.
He has no phoenix blood, yet he can never die. It seems the whole world keeps changing, while he alone remains frozen in different moments in time. Such is the tragic life of a man named Phoenix.
In the end, he chooses to lose the memories of those lives somewhere between reincarnation and rebirth.
When darkness draws near, he turns away without a care and heads for his next destination.
Everything will be all right.
Phoenix finally dies, but his story begins all over again.
When he wakes, he finds himself lying in a forest, with a little wooden cabin glowing in the distance.
A new adventure quietly begins.
[Notes]
1. This is neither a story that torments the protagonist nor a power fantasy. The protagonist won't become especially powerful by the end, because he's just an ordinary person who has lived a long time.
2. His ability is [Immortality]. Every time he dies, he loses most of his life's memories, retaining only a few key turning points. This is his own choice.
3. He doesn't mind making enemies or running into people he knew in a previous life. If things truly reach an irreversible point, he'll consider dying and starting another life. He's a champion at giving up.
4. The story won't be very long. The latter half will involve time travel, and there will be unexplained details, since that part is a [Prelude].
5. There are a few one-sided crushes, but no CP. The author sees each life as a different person, so they're mostly part of the background. The protagonist isn't suited to loving anyone and refuses that kind of relationship. Anyone who actually got together with him would suffer.
If I had to explain it, I'd say this is a story about constantly searching for the meaning of life.
Theme: Finding your own path
Throw flowers! Just a reminder, a single arrow in the category of non-CP channels doesn't seem to work, even if it is related to emotions, it will cross channels.
