[My new novel, "The Kid Sees Comments at a Crime Scene," is now available. Thanks to every angel who supports the official release~]
A virtual screen suddenly appeared before Yin Zhen.
Ding~ The Parent Onboarding Assessment app informs you that you've drawn the following assessment type: Easygoing, Lazy Little One. Assessment difficulty: 2 stars.
Ding~ Your little one's hunger level has fallen below the minimum. The System has sent you a serving of nutritional formula. Please feed them as soon as possible.
Yin Zhen looked at the child in front of him, who bore a striking resemblance to him. The child was hungry and crying softly, looking utterly pitiful.
Having just lost his own child, Yin Zhen's heart softened. He reached out and tapped [Feed] on the screen.
Bonus Scene One:
The soft, cuddly little one curled up on the bed. "Ama, can I have a serving of fried chicken today?"
Yin Zhen paused his writing and glanced at the little one, who seemed to have gotten a bit rounder. "A vegetarian diet is good for your health."
The child moved in close and tried to wheedle him. "I'm really healthy, Ama. Please let me have some. Please, Ama~"
Yin Zhen said nothing. He silently put down his brush, opened the box beside him, and revealed a glittering pile of gold ingots.
Ding~ Payment successful.
The little one hugged a bucket of fried chicken and jumped up happily. "Ama is the best! I love Ama the most! Here's the biggest drumstick for you."
Yin Zhen's ears turned faintly red. No matter how many times he heard it, he still couldn't get used to such an open declaration.
Watching the little bundle of joy he'd raised hold out a drumstick to him with both hands, he felt all the frustration of governing the country melt away.
Bonus Scene Two:
Ding~ The kindergarten bus is arriving soon. Please wake the little one and get them ready.
Yin Zhen remembered the footage from the little one's last kindergarten career simulation. The rice yield had actually reached 2,000 jin per mu.
He had to send Yi An to find out more!
He opened the screen and looked at the little one, sleeping soundly. He reached out a finger and gently nudged them.
"Yi An, wake up. It's time to go to school."
The little one's eyes wouldn't even open. Their tiny face scrunched up, and their chubby hand waved dismissively before they burrowed under the covers.
A muffled mumble came from beneath the blanket: "It's so warm under the covers, Ama. I want to sleep more."
Yin Zhen watched helplessly as the bus pulled away, and his score was docked again for truancy.
He sighed as he looked at the drowsy child clutching the blanket, then resigned himself to doing exercises and checking in to earn back points.
Yin Zhen had thought the Penglai fairyland was already the one-of-a-kind treasure Heaven had bestowed upon him.
When he held the soft little bundle in his arms, the usually composed Yin Zhen froze.
The little one said in a babyish voice, "Ama, I've got you~"
His brothers exclaimed, "Fourth Brother! How did you suddenly end up with such a big child?"
The little bundle, who looked so much like Yin Zhen, soon won everyone's affection.
Yin Zhen watched his brothers crowd around the child, then scooped them up with a stern face. "We're going home!"

Reader's Guide:
1. A child-rearing story, mainly about family affection, with a little romance in the middle and later parts.
2. A semi-alternate setting. It won't follow history exactly, so think of it as a parallel world. It's just for fun, so enjoy reading and please don't nitpick the historical details.
---Pre-release: "The Only Group Healer in the Galaxy"---
Gu Wanyue was born into a figure-skating family. After repeatedly failing to achieve good results, she retired with regrets. On the day she announced her retirement, she received an ice-carved countdown plaque that allowed her to travel between the interstellar world and Earth.
Unable to become a warrior because she couldn't beast-shift, she awakened a healing companion creature: a huge block of ice, a useless dead thing. Her family treated her like a discarded pawn and arranged for her to serve in the military in someone else's place.
Then, on the border battlefield, the army succumbed to madness when a new type of insect caused their mental seas to collapse. They lost themselves, unable to tell friend from foe, and attacked wildly. She summoned a sheet of ice and danced across it. Her dance was breathtaking, and countless ice flowers blossomed, soothing every warrior suffering a mental-sea collapse.
Everyone watching the battlefield livestream felt as though their souls were trembling.
All they could feel was the melting of ice and snow, and the silence of all things.
--
Those with powerful beast forms are the bravest frontline warriors. They built an impenetrable wall along the border, holding back insectoid invasions for centuries. Yet the more powerful the beastfolk, the more vulnerable they are to mental-power surges. Once their mental sea collapses, they can never return to human form, and must spend the rest of their lives as mindless beasts.
Healers are salvation in endless darkness, but they are few in number and low in rank. They can only treat one person at a time. The ratio of beastfolk to healers is 100 to 1, nowhere near enough to meet the increasingly dire demands of war. Countless soldiers can only watch helplessly as their own mental seas, or those of their comrades, collapse. They either die horribly on the battlefield or become beasts and are exiled.
Until Gu Wanyue appeared.
Countless ferocious beasts, waiting to die in the depths of despair, once again felt the peace of noise and pain receding.
She danced across the ice, graceful and powerful. A single performance could make the ferocious beasts trapped in endless darkness lose their bloodshot eyes and frenzy, their gazes turning clear and lively once more. Their fur stood on end, and a tingling sensation rose from deep in their bones, making them want to roll around on the ice.
--
Gu Wanyue returned to Earth, and her healing powers came with her.
Her ice show stunned the audience. Countless people became obsessed with her, went wild for her, and banged their heads against the wall for her.
"Come out of retirement! Hold more ice shows! Can't you be a little more diligent?"
Gu Wanyue was very happy with her life now. She could lie in a rocking chair and bask in the sun, pet fluffy animals, figure skate, sleep, and occasionally milk the interstellar world for all it was worth. Life couldn't get any more comfortable.
Her only possible annoyance was that ever since she accidentally let slip that throwing plush toys meant affection, fluffy animals kept turning into their juvenile forms, secretly pretending to be toys and letting her throw them onto the ice.

Theme: Cherish family bonds
It's quite good-looking. Apart from some bugs in the text and the fact that the female characters are invisible almost throughout the text, what struck me the most was the description and application of educational concepts. The cub is so cute.
Ahhhhhhhhh I wanted to cry when I saw the part where Jiuzi took off
After reading this, I felt my heart swell
They are kings in their respective fields and are no longer lonely. I hope they will continue to be like this in parallel time and space!
I love this story. Very warm. Very happy to see it. Thank you author.
After reading it, I feel disappointed. Goodbye Zaizai, scatter flowers [Spread Flowers]
Look at my tags, click in and find that I have read my wife's articles intermittently (*?????) I really love it
So fast! ! ! Why is it gone?
It looks good from the front, but it's just pulled straight from the back.
It turns out that he and Gu Zhang are the same authors. I also forgot about that book in Jinping/Feeding. I haven't finished it yet. I'll wait to read it tomorrow.
