Calligraphy Took Me to the Pinnacle of Life

Fang Qiao, from deep in the mountains, came to the city through a reality show called Transformation Challenge. If she got enough supporters and succeeded in the challenge, she would receive a large sum of prize money and be allowed to stay in school. The gap between her rural school and a top high school in a major city left her feeling helpless. Just as the show was about to lead her astray, she discovered something different about the copybook in her hands. Every time she finished a page, a sentence turned into golden light and floated into the air. She could gain the power contained in that sentence! The power of Chinese writing was beyond imagination. "Pure and keen as ice and snow, swift and precise as thunder." "Heaven has endowed me with talents that must be put to use." "What you learn from books is never enough; only practice lets you truly understand." "A sword's edge comes from honing, and plum blossoms' fragrance from bitter cold." In just a few months, everyone witnessed Fang Qiao's transformation. From the bottom of her class to the top of her year, from failing math to dominating competitions, she shone at every stage of Transformation Challenge. "I Found a Dad on a Transformation Reality Show" "The Genius Girl Who Emerged from Transformation Challenge" "Sorry, I've switched sides. The stars, here I come!" "Starry Sky News: Our precious girl is representing the country at the International Mathematical Olympiad!" The great roc rises on the wind, soaring ninety thousand miles. Years later, in an interview for the "Pioneers of the Starry Sky" feature in The Great Nation: Growth: Fang Qiao: "Chinese writing and the vast starry sky are the most beautiful sights in my life." Theme: Pursue your dreams and enjoy life.
