To while away the boredom of summer vacation, Hoshino Saki received a full-dive romance game called A Certain Unscientific Love Story from her childhood friend, who loved coffee jelly. Looking at the handsome poster boy in the game, a blond man with dark skin, Hoshino Saki eagerly put on the headset and began her pursuit.

As her progress continued, she successfully unlocked the following CGs:

[Subtle Tenderness]: After their first meeting ended in social humiliation, Hoshino Saki got to know her fellow Police Academy student, whose name sounded like Mazda. After a chaotic stretch of getting along, the curly-haired police officer gazed wordlessly at the girl’s sparkling eyes. His lazy voice sounded helpless as he said:

“Are you an idiot? You can’t even understand a bomb mechanism this simple? Still, since you trained in martial arts with me last time, I suppose I’ll make the effort to teach you.”

[A Promise for the Future]: After becoming partners, she lived with a colleague named Saki and was astonished by her terrible lifestyle habits. The cat-eyed man smiled helplessly and patted her head. His voice was gentle, and he thoughtfully refrained from pointing out how embarrassed his junior was.

“From now on, leave all three meals a day to me. I’ll remember to make you dessert, too.”

[The Time We First Met]: The blond man with dark skin froze for a moment after being greeted with an unexpected “I like you” at their first meeting. Then he looked at the person in front of him and laughed cheerfully, his tone playful and friendly:

“Really? I like you too. Nice to meet you. I look forward to getting along with you.”

After maxing out her affection with all three romance options and unlocking the happy ending, [Love Beneath a Clear Sky], Hoshino Saki quit the game.

However, the day after she quit, the male lead from her happy ending came looking for her...

Reader's Guide:

① The heroine is a dog-like, straightforward pretty-boy enthusiast. There are several scenes where she says “I like you” at first sight. She’s also a crybaby who tears up at the drop of a hat (she really does cry). She’s playing a game about being a police officer; she isn’t actually a police officer, so of course she lacks some abilities. She’s just an idiot who likes to cling and act cute, and can fight with incredible strength. She hasn’t unlocked any advanced intelligence skills ().

② The entire Police Academy group survives.

③ The timeline has been changed, and there are some original elements in the Metropolitan Police Department sections. The author’s logic is dead, but I’m doing my best to make it all work. The characters will definitely be out of character. All I can say is that I’ve done my best (emphasis added).
