It had been raining for over a hundred years, and the land kept shrinking. Most people made their living at sea. Ye Xia wasn't good at fishing, so he got by growing potatoes. One day, a huge unconscious man got caught in the net beneath his houseboat.
The man could eat a lot, but he was also an excellent fisherman. Before long, the two of them were living better and better, roaming the world with their home in tow.
In short, this is a story about farming on a boat and raising crops and livestock below deck, occasionally diving for trash or stumbling across treasures on the ocean floor and making a little extra money.
A few things to know:
1. An unconventional post-apocalyptic farming story.
2. Rainfall is what causes global sea levels to rise. The rain isn't simply fresh water, so the oceans aren't diluted, and marine life still swims and hops around as usual.
