Flirting With the Lead Singer Every Day

Xie Chuxing has stunning looks and a voice that blows everyone else away. He plays the fiercest guitar with the most beautiful hands.

But somehow, he managed to squander a winning hand.

Three years into his career, he's released thirteen albums. Even the donkeys in a production team would have dropped dead by now.

A well-deserved title: the emotionless singing machine.

And yet he's the most envied star in the entire music industry.

Because... if he doesn't sing well, he has to go home and inherit billions in assets.

Xie Chuxing makes a bet with his second uncle: he'll put together a band with real feeling and make a comeback in the music industry.

At an underground gig.

A thunderous barrage of drumbeats sets the crowd's excitement ablaze.

The bassist looks at his leader. "What do you think of the drummer up there? Give me the nod, and I'll take care of him."

Xie Chuxing looks up at the seemingly calm yet tempestuous face, as beautiful as jade, and responds as if he's heard a joke. "You? Take care of him?"

A few images flash through his mind.

He's so impressive, but that night, he still did what I told him.

"I'll take care of him myself," Xie Chuxing says.

After they recruit the drummer, the band unexpectedly becomes a sensation.

Xie Chuxing sheds his singing-machine label and transforms into the band's lead vocalist and soul.

Question: "Comparing your achievements then and now, what do you think was missing back then?"

Xie Chuxing (silly_grin.jpg): "Thanks for asking. Probably a wife."

Question: "How would you objectively rate lead singer Xie Chuxing's voice?"

Yu Re (blushing.jpg): "It's my heartbeat. I can't be objective."
