Searching for the Lost Maya Civilization

In the year 2500, Earth's aerospace technology has advanced rapidly, and space exploration has become one of the travel options offered by travel agencies.

Yang Guang, an elementary school student at a science and technology school, has a father who is a crewed spacecraft scientist. Influenced by his father, Yang Guang is also passionate about space science. Recently, he has been reading a thick science book, Ancient Maya Civilization. He has only made it halfway through when an unexpected accident occurs.

Yang Guang has a German Shepherd named Gentleman. While playing in the yard, the dog accidentally activates a newly developed crewed spacecraft. A boy and his dog are sent straight to a mysterious planet called Maya. To Yang Guang's even greater surprise, he discovers the mysterious Maya people who vanished a thousand years ago, and experiences a series of thrilling, hilarious adventures.

Through this fictional story, the book reveals the truth behind the rumor that the Maya were taken away by aliens. Most of the Maya people, cities, buildings, social roles, food, and major events in the story are based on real aspects of Maya society. These will all be explained together at the end of the book.
