Coming soon in my collection: Old Bookshop. Synopsis at the very bottom.
--------------------Synopsis:
Yun Miao transmigrates into a book and discovers that on the surface, she's a pitiful little nobody: her meridians are severed, her parents are dead, and her clan has been wiped out. She has nothing going for her but her face. Her fiance, to whom she was betrothed long ago, has even broken off their engagement, leaving her to become a laughingstock across the land.
In reality, she has an extraordinary spiritual root. Every other step brings her a peerless cultivation technique, every ten steps a rare encounter with a divine beast, and the jade bangle she carries contains a wise old woman who can restore her spiritual root and guide her cultivation.
A born sword bone and a peerless divine sword are merely the basics for her as a sword cultivator.
Elixirs are scarce in the cultivation world, and alchemists are few and scattered. No problem: not only is she exceptionally gifted at alchemy, but even a random trip to a secret realm can earn her a legendary alchemy manual. Her cultivation speed is astonishing, too.
In time, she will become so powerful that her influence reaches across the land. She will even ascend to become the sovereign of all immortals, winning the submission of countless heroes. She is the very embodiment of the Phoenix-Protagonist archetype.
Every villainous extra who has ever tried to suppress her meets a horrific end. After they die, not even a speck of ash remains.
No matter how treacherous the road ahead, no matter what twists and turns the future holds, no matter how terrifying and unknown the entity standing between her and the future of the entire cultivation world may be,
Yun Miao will always face forward, sword in hand.
[Plot-driven, with a male lead, but very little romance. Read with caution.]
[Reader's Guide]:
1. The female lead is not a good person in the absolute sense! You could call her chaotic neutral. She has basically normal social values, but little sense of morality and little empathy. Whatever she does, she will use any means necessary to achieve her goal, and she doesn't care what anyone thinks of her. Many people and things are merely ways to pass the time or proof of her strength, so she finds it hard to genuinely care about them. (This is highlighted, so please read with caution.)
2. This is not a traditional cultivation story and includes other elements. Feel free to discuss and offer corrections, but please don't make personal attacks.
3. This is a story of gradual growth: she won't be invincible from the start. Any temporary frustrations will eventually lead to face-slapping.
[Coming Soon: Old Bookshop]
A strange tale has been passed down through the world:
In a narrow alley lined with gray-brick houses, in a park where clear water runs over stone, even beside a coffee shop on the way home...
On a silent night, deep in the hours of darkness, an old bookshop with no name quietly opens its doors somewhere in the world.
The owner is a refined, handsome young man with an easygoing air. He always holds a book, while a dignified, intelligent black cat rests beside him. With a gentle smile, he welcomes visitors from every corner of the world and serves each one a cup of hot tea, listening to their thoughts and troubles.
They say the owner is immortal, and opened the bookshop to while away the endless years. That's why its shelves hold every kind of rare old book and manuscript.
They say the owner is an ancient god who, for reasons unknown, remains in the mortal world. Out of kindness and compassion, he grants the wishes of those who have lost their way.
But for everyone who enters the shop weighed down by troubles, all they need to do is listen to their hearts and open the old book fate has chosen for them.
The book understands everything you think and feel, and can solve all your worries and sorrows. For a small price, you can take that old book home with you.
One night, the old book that helped you fulfill your wish will quietly return to the shop, where it will wait for the next person who needs it.
Every old book is unique, holding a secret history. They gather in the bookshop, then scatter again, traveling to other places. They bring joy to others and inspire new creations.

The writing is so cool. I've long wanted to read the gender-changing version of Long Aotian. Come on, come on. Also, is this a long, orthodox fairy tale?
I'm very sorry. Due to the current coursework and problems, I really can't find time to update this week. I will temporarily stop updating this week after the next chapter update is released. The resumption of updating is tentatively scheduled for three weeks. I'm sorry again, it's because I didn't estimate the writing time, which led to it running into other important things.
Due to my busy schedule, recent updates will be updated every other day. If there is a word count requirement for the list, it will be completed. The time to resume daily updates is to be determined. Thank you all.
Drop - Happy Friday card~
Is the title of the author written wrong? What's the wind?
