The Crown Prince's White Moonlight

As the younger daughter, Xie Qiongsi had to make way for her twin sister from childhood onward. The one time she went against the grain was when she saved a boy, his eyes filled with malice, from her sister's blade.

A few years passed in the blink of an eye. The runaway boy rose to become a violent crown prince, feared and despised by everyone.

Her sister, especially, trembled with fear.

Forced to take her sister's place, she was sent to the crown prince's residence to be tormented by him. She had thought she wouldn't last three days in the hands of the cruel, narrow-minded prince.

To Xie Qiongsi's utter astonishment, everyone in the residence treated her with the utmost courtesy, practically worshipping her like a goddess.

And the way the crown prince looked at her was so dark and intense it made her uneasy. Every so often, he even wore the smug, self-absorbed expression of someone thinking, 'Don't fall for me. It's a lot of pressure.'

Whenever the crown prince saw the pale, frail girl gazing at him timidly, he would remember all those days and nights when he had once stayed at the Xie family home.

Back then, she had been just as shy. She would deliberately walk over to see him, then hurry away as soon as he noticed her.

Thinking of that, the crown prince would always imagine triumphantly, Does she admire me, or does she admire me?

At first, Xie Qiongsi only thought the crown prince's gaze was strange.

Later, his behavior grew absurd too. He insisted on elevating her to the status of the Xie family's eldest daughter.

Then, one night, Xie Qiongsi tearfully said, "Your Highness, I really never meant for you to offer yourself to me..."

"Also, I-I really was just passing by. I ran because I was afraid you'd splash me with blood while killing that fish..."
