The Goofy Disciple and the Aloof Master

Ye Qing transmigrates into a cultivation world, where she becomes the beloved little disciple of a sect leader.

The original Ye Qing was born a fool and was bullied often. Only her master, Shangguan Ruan, cherished her like a treasure. But there were always a few days when Shangguan Ruan couldn't look after her. During one such time, the original Ye Qing was tricked into going to the Dark Forest, where she was scared to death.

The first step to keeping up her new persona is to act like a fool, then strike back.

When her fellow disciples take her things, she smiles and makes them give everything back.

When they call her an idiot, she smiles and makes them say, "I'm a brain-dead moron" ten thousand times.

When they say she's untalented and unworthy of being the sect leader's disciple, Shangguan Ruan expels them from the sect before Ye Qing can even speak.

Most of the sect's disciples hold a grudge against Ye Qing.

Soon, the sect holds a martial arts tournament, and everyone recommends Ye Qing to compete.

To their surprise, Ye Qing defeats one opponent after another with a single punch, easily winning first place in front of the major sects.

Everyone is stunned. How is this possible?

Only when the judge announces Ye Qing as the champion do they believe it.

Ye Qing presents Shangguan Ruan with the winner's prize, a rainbow-cloud skirt, like a little girl showing off a gift. She winks and says, "Master, this is a gift for you. Wear it for me tonight."

Everyone waits for the aloof, otherworldly immortal to reject Ye Qing, who speaks without restraint and shows no respect for her elders. But Shangguan Ruan actually accepts the gift.

Everyone is shocked. Whatever happened to the aloof immortal who kept everyone at arm's length?

From an angle no one else can see, only Ye Qing catches the tips of her master's ears turning bright red. And only Ye Qing knows how passionate and alluring her doting master becomes at night.

She wants Shangguan Ruan, for all eternity, through the primordial ages, living on with heaven and earth.
