[Next up: "Oops! They Found Out I'm a Hater". An enemies-to-lovers couple! The blurb is at the very bottom. If you like it, feel free to bookmark it!]
Blurb:
Powerful, wealthy investor x self-reliant little flower
Ning Jiao is a little-known actress.
After finally landing a major production, she thought she could turn her career around. But before filming even began, the fans of the two male leads joined forces to insult her from head to toe.
So after half a year in the entertainment industry, she returned to being a nobody.
She threw herself into making short dramas, and unexpectedly made a name for herself. After just three shows, she had secured her place as the queen of short dramas.
Then came a whole slew of baseless scandals, including but not limited to:
An affair with someone on the production team.
Buying her way onto the set.
Insulting her coworkers.
And the most outrageous one of all:
Your sister's kid is already three, and you're still pretending to be the only pure white jasmine flower in the entertainment industry?
Then overnight, every account that had spread rumors about Ning Jiao was shut down.
2.
Late one night, a man called her. His voice was teasing. "Teacher Ning, I've given you so many resources and so much money. How come you still don't know how to throw your weight around?"
Ning Jiao frowned at the name flashing on her phone: Wen Siting, the shadowy boss of Panshi Investments.
He was refined and distinguished, with an impressive family background.
Plenty of people in the industry counted on him to let a little wealth trickle through his fingers so they could feed their families. His attitude alone was enough to earn him the nickname God of Wealth.
His only sore point was his three-year-old daughter, whose mother was unknown.
Ning Jiao lowered her eyes, too lazy to entertain him. "You'd be better off using that time to teach your daughter a couple more math problems. I'll handle my own affairs."
No one knew that the mother of Wen Siting, the fabulously wealthy heir of the capital's elite, was the little-known actress at the center of all the rumors these past few days.
3.
When eighteen-year-old Wen Siting met sixteen-year-old Ning Jiao, he took her hand, led her onto a helicopter, and got her away from the towering waves that had nearly taken her life.
At twenty-one, Wen Siting met nineteen-year-old Ning Jiao in Heng City. He gave a homeless girl a place to stay. Their feelings were young and uncertain, and neither of them dared to break through that invisible barrier.
At twenty-one, Ning Jiao reached a turning point in her life. She and Wen Siting fell in love, and then she abandoned her husband and daughter.
At twenty-four, Wen Siting received a gift from Ning Jiao on a rainy night. While the baby, abandoned alongside her father, cried endlessly for her mother, Wen Siting sat up all night with her in his arms. The child was starving, and outside, the rain fell in an impenetrable curtain. For the first time in his life, Wen Siting learned what it meant to repay kindness with betrayal.
Back then, Wen Siting thought he would never forgive that coldhearted, cruel woman for as long as he lived.
Years later, when they met again in the capital, Ning Jiao merely glanced at him from across the crowd.
And he willingly became her secret benefactor, paying her bills and sharing her bed, a gentle and devoted husband in all but name.
-He went to every length to smooth the way for Ning Jiao, hoping she would take a shortcut, but she cast him aside like an old shoe.
Fine, then. He would block every other path in the world, leaving her no choice but to become the moon in his arms.-
Tips:
The male lead is hopelessly in love; the female lead is career-focused. There are misunderstandings.
The female lead chose to have the child. The male lead truly didn't know.
There's also an adorable baby.
The blurb isn't the whole truth.

A story about an enemies-to-lovers couple!
1. Jiang Shiwu first learned that hate lasts longer than love because of Zhou Xubai.
In her eyes, Zhou Xubai had nothing going for him except his face and his lovely voice. Everything about him rubbed her the wrong way.
Years ago, he burst onto the scene in a talent competition and stole the debut spot of Jiang Shiwu's one pick. On that dazzling debut night, the entertainment industry gained another cog in the machine, and Zhou Xubai gained a "loyal" hater.
Later, all of Zhou Xubai's official accounts went dark, and every project rumored to involve him was recast in the blink of an eye. Before Jiang Shiwu could celebrate, she spotted him outside her own front door.
It was thirty-five degrees out, and he was dressed all in black, a baseball cap hiding most of his face and a mask covering the rest.
Only his lean, well-defined forearms showed a pallor untouched by sunlight.
Jiang Shiwu was telling a friend about it when she suddenly turned to look at her "new neighbor." Tall and slender, he dragged his suitcase along like a stray dog.
She admitted it: she felt great.
Then her conscience kicked in, and she felt a little sorry for him.
2. The day Zhou Xubai left the capital for this small northern city was the hottest in forty years.
He was bundled up from head to toe, but ran into a young woman outside his newly rented home.
Her eyes were bright as she stared at him without blinking.
Though her words were barbed.
But she had to be a fan.
This fan was impressive. She somehow managed to show up wherever he went.
She stood outside the auto repair shop where he worked, milk tea in hand. They bumped into each other at a barbecue stall two intersections from home. She even came rushing into his arms one morning on his way to work.
What a talent for stalking.
Later, he let himself into her home. While she was cutting fruit, he casually picked up the notebook she'd left nearby and flipped through it.
On the last page was a line of elegant handwriting:
[There are three things I hate in life:
First, that ugly, useless Zhou Xubai got to make his glorious debut!
Second, that the moon hangs so high above me.
Third, that I can't pull the moon into my arms.]
Her first hatred was written so forcefully it seemed to pierce the page, as if she wanted to carve the word into Zhou Xubai himself.
3. Zhou Xubai thought his next-door neighbor was a fan. As it turned out, she was a hater.
Jiang Shiwu thought Zhou Xubai had become a pathetic stray. As it turned out, he pinned her to the bed and bared his fangs.
He covered her beautiful eyes and murmured in her ear, "Hate is just another kind of love, right, baby? Be good and tell me you love me."
Reader's guide:
1. The female lead isn't a vicious, ferocious hater. She's fluffy and makes things up as she goes.
2. The male lead doesn't leave the entertainment industry.
3. This story is also known as "The Milk Tea Girl and the Auto Mechanic".
Theme: A gentleman is judged by his actions, not his thoughts.
Looking forward to the extra episode [Spreading Flowers] 🤗🤗🤗 Come on, come on
