Ming Su's eyes lit up. Sold!

Her foodie nature took over, and Ming Su readily agreed to the immortal's demand, gaining a body once more.

The original host was a disgraced Alpha, exiled by her family. She should have been the darling of the heavens and was betrothed to the empress as a child, but an accident left her crippled. She could only go to the desolate Wasteland Planet and do the most despised thing of all: marry into the empress's family.

When Ming Su arrived, there wasn't a speck of green in sight. The wind and sand roared across the land, and outside the palace sat the empress, so pale she was almost transparent, looking gently over at her.

At just one glance, Ming Su wanted to run away.

But seeing the restrained hope in the empress's eyes softened Ming Su's heart. She steeled herself and tapped the empty air.

The immortal gave her a farming System and then vanished, leaving Ming Su and the empress sitting on the steps, staring at each other.

It's just farming. Ming Su gritted her teeth. She could do this!

The crippled Alpha Ming Su cleared land and planted crops, fed chickens and raised fish. She put the time-honored virtues of farmers to work, keeping careful accounts and laboring diligently. She managed the household frugally and worked with plenty of enthusiasm.

In between farming, Ming Su also dealt with several groups of scumbags who came looking for trouble. She transformed the Wasteland Planet into the most dazzling gem in the stars, and turned the derogatory term "live-in Alpha" into a compliment.

When the Wasteland Planet shed its yellow skin and donned a green mantle, brimming with life, Ming Su was filled with pride. She declared grandly to the empress, "Qingyi, this is the realm I've planted for you!"

The empress pulled her proud Alpha into her arms and smiled meaningfully. "Good. You'll have to hand in a little more homework tonight..."
