Sesshomaru Would Never Take the Straight Path [Inuyasha]

Inuyasha fanfic, 1v1, Sesshomaru pairing. (The title and blurb aren't final and may be changed before the story starts.) The basic premise: Hoshino Natsue, a swordswoman of the Demon Slayer Corps, transmigrates into the world of Inuyasha. She fights to survive and eventually becomes a renowned great demon. Then the world's consciousness suddenly tells her that this is a manga world. If she can identify the manga's protagonist and get them to beat her up sincerely, she can go home. Natsue: What genre is this manga? World's consciousness: It's a shonen manga that's often mistaken for a shojo manga. Natsue: Got it. If it's often mistaken for a shojo manga, the protagonist must be handsome. I'll just find the most handsome one! [Target acquired! Sesshomaru!] They say Sesshomaru likes to travel in straight lines, and anyone who blocks his way gets sliced to pieces. Natsue: Got it. If I want him to beat someone up, I just have to block his path! Besides, she's tough. Getting hit doesn't hurt. So she blocks his way, gets beaten up, and nothing happens. Wasn't she supposed to be able to go home after getting beaten up? Natsue: Got it. He must not have beaten me up sincerely enough. She'll keep blocking his way. Persistence is the key to success! * Young Sesshomaru hears that a mysterious great demon lives near the border of the Western Lands. Always seeking strength, he can't wait to fight her. He sets off for the demon's territory, but on the way, some nuisance keeps blocking his path and provoking him. Whenever they fight, though, she never fights back. She takes his attacks without a scratch, then taunts him for not fighting sincerely enough. One day, he'll make her beg for mercy! Only later does he learn that she's the great demon he wanted to challenge. [You can enjoy this even if you haven't seen the anime. All you need to know is that the heroine can't get home because she's looking for the wrong person: the original protagonist is Sesshomaru's younger brother, Inuyasha.] Before you dive in: 1. This is a silly comedy, so don't take it seriously. 2. Sesshomaru and Rin are treated as family and friends in this story. 3. This is only an Inuyasha fanfic and has no connection to Yashahime. 4. I haven't decided exactly when the story takes place yet, and that may change. Cover artist: LuckyStrike Written on 2022.2.10, archived Theme: Don't rely on stereotypes
