The Little Fox Is Still Pretending to Be a Helpful Citizen Today [Seven Heroes and Five Gallants]

[Though this advance notice makes it seem like the story is a long way off, believe me, I will definitely write it. I've actually already written two chapters. Once it reaches 400 bookmarks, I'll start preparing to launch it.] This is a story about a little fox who comes down from the mountain to repay Guard Zhan's kindness. Before the little fox leaves the mountain, her parents repeatedly warn her: Don't get too close to humans. It's best to keep things at the level of a chance encounter. Don't reveal your true form in front of people. Human hearts are treacherous, so safety comes first. But how is she supposed to repay his kindness that way? The little fox thinks it over and cleverly decides to appear as a different passerby every day and "bump into" Zhan Zhao! Fox Dad (reaching out in alarm): Daughter, that's not what I meant by those two things I told you! Fox Mom (covering her face, unable to watch): Daughter, disguising yourself as a passerby takes skill too! Zhan Zhao: ...Why does everyone around me seem so strange lately, from the street vendors and shopkeepers to the maids and servants? In this world, if "chance encounters" happen often enough, they become fate. Before you start: Original plot, one-on-one romance, CP: Zhan Zhao. An alternate-history Song Dynasty, no historical research required. The heroine has lived deep in the mountains for a long time and knows little of the world. She's innocent, kind, and absent-minded, but she won't hold anyone back. Theme: A drop of kindness should be repaid with a flood.
