But the gods were lawless, and the supernatural horrors ran rampant. Humanity had no choice but to watch over one another and struggle to survive. “We need a god who can protect us, who can protect the whole world!” “What gods? They’re all filthy evil gods! You all deserve to die! Only destruction… only destroying everything can bring new life!” “Don’t be afraid. I’m right behind you. Go ahead and do what you need to do.” “Young people should be free to live a little more boldly. I don’t want them saddled with such a heavy burden at an age when they should be happy. Come on, stop frowning.” “What do you mean, it’s for the town and its people? That’s just an excuse you made up to satisfy your own selfish desires!” “Senior… will… will someone really come to save us?” “…They will.” -- Reading guide: 1. The heroine transmigrates to a supernatural world. 2. The heroine grows over time (important!). She does not start out slaughtering everyone in her path. 3. Style: a little horror + plot-driven + satisfying and exhilarating (action-packed?) 4. The story may be revised from time to time. Changes will not affect your ability to follow the story.
