After the Cannon Fodder Supporting Lady Picks Up the Demon Lord

One day, You Fuguang transmigrates into a book, landing in a face-slapping power fantasy with a strong female lead as the cannon-fodder supporting female character who shares her name.

In the original story, You Fuguang, after having her fiance stolen from her, refuses to accept it and maliciously frames the heroine, her half-sister. When she's exposed, she goes mad with demonic cultivation and is hunted down by the combined forces of the immortal sects, dying miserably in the Valley of Ten Thousand Demons.

At the thought, You Fuguang shudders. Fortunately, there's still time to change everything...

All You Fuguang wants is to stay alive. She plans to keep her distance from the overpowered heroine and her gaggle of admirers, and focus on asking the Dao (hiking), cultivating immortality (sightseeing), and saving little spirit beasts along the way.

One of them is a tiny, pitch-black lump, barely alive and seemingly injured by an evil flame.

You Fuguang takes good care of him, changing his bandages during the day and telling him stories to pass the time, then keeping him close in her arms while they sleep at night.

Later, when her sister is about to be married, You Fuguang has no choice but to return to the immortal estate. To her dismay, she loses track of the little black lump.

Downcast, You Fuguang returns to the estate, only to find the male lead of the original story, the fiance who had been stolen from her, gazing at her with tender affection and confessing his love just before his wedding to the heroine. He even wants to marry her.

You Fuguang: This plot is cursed!

On the day of the wedding, You Fuguang is tied up and put in a bridal carriage. Halfway there, the sound of fighting suddenly erupts outside, and everyone cries, "The Demon Lord!"

Amid the chaos, You Fuguang hears a cool voice order, "Kill them all!"

When she sees sunlight again, someone is holding her atop a pile of ruins.

She hears herself ask, trembling, "Who are you?"

The elegant young man looks down at her, his eyes reddening. "Well, well. You slept with me and don't even remember?"
