Author's notes:

1. Both the top and bottom have secret identities: one is a Demon Lord and the other is a Demon Sovereign. But neither starts out at full strength, so this is a leveling-up story about falling in love while searching for magical artifacts and power.

2. The top and bottom are devoted only to each other. There will be a few angsty moments, but the top loves the bottom steadfastly from beginning to end. It includes a true-and-false white moonlight setup, so readers who don't like a little angst should take note!

3. Includes the bottom losing his memory and faking his death, as well as the top turning evil because he thinks the bottom has died. There's also a major villain who causes trouble from beginning to end, but the villain has no romantic entanglements with the top or bottom.

When You Fuguang returns to the estate in low spirits, the male protagonist of the original story, the fiance who was stolen from her, unexpectedly confesses his love to her on the eve of his wedding to the female protagonist and says he wants to marry her.

You Fuguang: This plot is cursed!

On the wedding day, You Fuguang is bound to a flower carriage. Halfway there, the sound of fighting suddenly rings out beyond the carriage, and everyone cries, "The Demon Venerable!"

Amid the chaos, You Fuguang hears a cool, detached voice order, "Kill them all!"
