They All Went Mad After the Queen Insect Returned

An Qi transmigrated.

Having survived the apocalypse, he took one look at the hideous insectoid before him and stumbled several steps backward.

Laughter immediately erupted all around him...

"Is this good-for-nothing really an An? Maybe they picked him up, or switched him at birth. Maybe he's some bastard his father had with another man..." Scorn, mockery, and curses filled his ears.

An Qi realized he'd transmigrated into the useless runt of the An family. His parents and siblings were powerful insect controllers, while his younger cousin, who was the same age as him, was an insect soother, much like a queen bee. He could use his mental form to soothe insectoids suffering from mental power surges...

Before transmigrating, An Qi was the last Gu master of the Sheng Miao tribe. After the apocalypse, he raised countless Gu insects and fought alongside mutated creatures against aliens.

Did having no mental form really mean he couldn't control insectoids in battle?

Ever heard of an insect flute?

Which insect, snake, or venomous creature couldn't be controlled by an insect flute, as long as your mental power was strong enough?

Gradually, fragments of memories surfaced in An Qi's mind. His younger cousin's Sacred Cicada mental form had actually belonged to him. Someone had secretly taken it and implanted it in his cousin.

An Qi thought, So that's how it is. No wonder that tiny, translucent, milky-white cicada kept sneaking over to ask him for food.

Countless high-intelligence insectoid generals, powerful insectoids capable of taking human form, surrounded his younger cousin An Nai and spoiled him rotten, giving him the stars if he asked, and the moon if he wanted it!

An Nai liked his older cousin An Qi taking care of him, so An Qi was expected to follow An Nai around like a shadow.

He was supposed to look after this spoiled younger cousin in every possible way, keeping him comfortable and making sure everything was just right.

Short-tempered An Qi: Get lost.

I'm not your servant or your slave...

I was raising insects before you even knew where you were. Pack your things, An Qi's out of here.

When next spring comes and the mountains are covered in wildflowers, I'll bring my swarm and wipe out you bastards who have gone too far...

Hot-tempered, powerful young bottom VS the insectoid king, whose combat strength is second to none
