After Falling in Love with Dazai at First Sight

I transmigrated.

The good news: It was still a modern society.

The bad news: It was overseas.

The good news: I could understand the language of this country.

The bad news: This was a world with special abilities, and I was still an ordinary person.

D-damn it, doesn't that make me what they call a background character?

Worse still, even a background character has to fight hard to survive.

Just when I thought things couldn't get any worse, my luck seemed to take a turn for the better.

When I was in danger, someone saved me. My savior, Mr. N, might not be very tall, but he's rich and powerful, and such a kind young man!

At my part-time job, I became friends with a customer. Mr. G is energetic but adorable, and he's a teacher at a technical college, so he's very reliable.

And what's more...

I also met Mr. D, and fell in love at first sight. He's an ordinary person, too, but he's handsome, gentle, and charming.

So, fellow background character... want to date?

Gentle, ordinary Dazai: ?

Very reliable Gojo: ?

Kind-hearted Chuuya: ?

The ordinary bystanders watching: ...You call them background characters?!?!

Reading guide:

1. First-person narration, with a rambling style. The initials in the blurb are the first letters of their romanized names.

2. The endgame pairing is Dazai, with other romantic relationships along the way.

3. This is a flight-of-fancy project I started after getting stuck on the story next door. There may be melodrama, the timeline may be jumbled, and the setting may be completely made up.

4. OOC is guaranteed, and so are plot holes.

5. The point of reading is to have fun. If you're not enjoying it, cut your losses and don't force yourself to keep reading.

[Announcement: The novel will be serialized starting March 13. Multiple chapters will be released that day. Thank you, my darlings, for all your support! =3=]

Recommended upcoming novel by a friend:

"Dangerous Beauty [Infinite]" by Tu Mi. One-line pitch: Every instance is a play, and it all comes down to acting!

My own upcoming novel:

==★Upcoming Novel: "[Anime Crossover] The Siscon Training Game". Please add it to your favorites!★==

I bought a game called "The Road to Raising a Siscon."

I heard it had several settings to choose from, and the brother assigned to the character was different in each world.

Aside from their personalities, the brothers in the game were perfect in every way. The player's job was to raise the brother's affection for the character to 100 percent.

I took a look at the settings:

The first world was supposedly called Hunter, and the brother was the eldest son of a family.

The second world was supposedly called Demon Blade, and the brother was also the eldest son of a family.

The third world seemed to be called Literary Masters, and the brother was still the eldest son of a family.

#Is this game picking a fight with eldest sons? [pointing accusingly]#

But then I thought about it. All I had to do was train them into siscons.

Should be easy.

Full of confidence, I entered the first world.

Good news: My whole family were professional assassins, with high combat abilities.

Bad news: I randomly got assigned a non-blood-related identity.

After thinking it over, I carefully put my points into beauty and combat ability.

I had planned it all out.

Beauty would make people more tolerant of me, so I wouldn't get my throat slit one day.

Combat ability would let me fight back, so I wouldn't get my throat slit one day.

But despite my careful planning, I hit a disastrous dead end.

My brother, Illumi, was always saying weird things and doing weird stuff, so I couldn't help getting into "friendly" fistfights with him.

I thought miserably, this save file is ruined.

What normal person would have a 100 percent affection rating for a sister like me?

[Ding! Congratulations, player, on achieving the pseudo-sister-bride ending and clearing this world!]

Me: ...Huh??

Looking at the newly unlocked ending CG, I couldn't help falling into deep thought.

After some thought, I understood.

Fighting is affection, and scolding is love!

[Ding! Random identity assigned: Muzan Kibutsuji's twin sister from the Ubuyashiki family.]

I put my points into combat ability again and happily entered the second world.

I sincerely thought, this time, I will get along lovingly with Brother Muzan!

Muzan: ...Get lost!

Theme: Even ordinary people should bravely pursue the love that belongs to them, because everyone has the right to find happiness.
