How I Accidentally Bent My Best Friend

[New story, After Giving Up, My Actress Ex Regrets Everything, is now underway~]

[Please add my next book, I'll Never Be the Rich Big Sister's Dog, to your reading list ^o^]

The year Chen Yushu started university, three major things happened in her life.

First, she realized she liked women.

Second, the woman she fell for was her childhood friend, Lu Wei.

Third, and most crucially, Lu Wei was a true-blue straight girl.

As the saying goes: A straight girl flirting with a lesbian is a recipe for disaster. It works the other way around, too.

To rein in her growing feelings, and to manually make Lu Wei less tempting,

Chen Yushu began nitpicking, determined to collect all of Lu Wei's flaws and write them in a little notebook. She treated it like scripture, reading it day and night.

*

After starting university, Lu Wei noticed that her childhood sweetheart had changed!

She had become quiet and withdrawn, and sometimes said things that left Lu Wei speechless.

When Lu Wei upset another girl, she went to comfort her and apologize. Turning around, she found Chen Yushu staring at her coldly. "Sweet-talker."

When she told a joke that made everyone laugh, Chen Yushu was the only one looking sinister. "Showing off like a peacock."

On the way back to the dorm, a guy confessed to her. She turned him down, then saw Chen Yushu standing in the distance, lips barely parted. "You go for men and women. What a player!"

Lu Wei: ????

Then one day, she happened to see Chen Yushu's notebook. It was filled with her flaws, several pages' worth, and ended with two words: "Heartbreaker!"

Lu Wei was shocked and heartbroken. So... this is what my childhood sweetheart thinks of me?

Their friendship couldn't just sink without a fight.

She started taking a serious look at herself, and quietly changing...

*

After putting her plan into practice for a while, Chen Yushu found that the notebook was becoming less and less effective. She was falling harder and harder, and growing more and more afraid of losing Lu Wei.

With her feelings about to become impossible to hide, she had no choice but to follow her troublemaking friend's advice and find a fake girlfriend.

But before she could find one, Lu Wei showed up.

At a mixer, Lu Wei dragged her all the way to a grove and held her firmly in her arms.

"I heard you're looking for a girlfriend?"

"...I-I guess so."

"Then what do you think of me? Lu Wei, only daughter of the Lu family. You know me inside and out, I'm from a good family, I say what I mean, I'm modest and reserved, and I'm devoted to you alone... I have no bad habits."

[During all the days you pushed me away, I was doing my best to get closer to you.]

A few notes:

1. Chen Yushu made up a lot of Lu Wei's flaws to fool herself. Lu Wei isn't to blame~

2. The characters aren't perfect. They have their little flaws.

3. One-sided love → mutual pining

4. There are countless great books on Jinjiang. If this isn't for you, please click the X and move on. (bows)

I'll Never Be the Rich Big Sister's Dog!

#Classic older-woman-younger-woman romance# #Age gap# #Pure sweetness#

[Healthy crawling × an overthinker who can't stop having inner monologues × the living embodiment of "I take it all back" × a crybaby pup × glamorous and alluring × seductive and irresistible × a sly, wealthy big sister]

Pu Zhi is 175 centimeters tall, a sports student at a top university, with long legs, a slim waist, and defined abs. She has the perfect face for the lesbian community, but is so broke she can barely scrape two coins together.

Ji Mingyu is young but already owns assets worth hundreds of billions. Fair-skinned, beautiful, and stunning, she lives a life of pleasure and never gets attached.

By a twist of fate, a contract brings them together, each getting what she wants.

*

At first, Pu Zhi kept business and pleasure separate, declaring emphatically, "I'm getting paid to do a job. Don't think I'll be some canary dependent on you!"

The beauty blew a smoke ring. With eyes like silk, she hooked a pale finger around the collar at Pu Zhi's neck. "Who said I wanted you to be a canary? I only need a puppy. Come when I call, fawn on me, and make me happy. Got it?"

Pu Zhi was furious. "Don't even think about it! Ji Mingyu, I'd never be your dog in a million years!"

*

Later, Pu Zhi grew tired of their relationship and decided to break things off with Ji Mingyu.

Ji Mingyu: [One last time.]

They met at a hotel. The woman emerged from the bathroom, wet hair over her shoulders, water droplets trickling down her neck into the deep valley of her cleavage. She leaned against the headboard and beckoned Pu Zhi with a slight curl of her finger. "Good girl, come here."

After a storm of passion, the beauty was still catching her breath as she asked, her voice bewitching, "Still want to break up?"

Pu Zhi: "..."

Half a month later, Pu Zhi tried to break things off again.

Ji Mingyu: [One last time.]

They met at a villa... Afterward, Ji Mingyu raised an eyebrow and smiled. "Still want to break up?"

Pu Zhi: "..."

Six months later, Pu Zhi tried to break things off for the nth time.

Ji Mingyu: [One last time.]

The last billionth time, then!

[I don't just want to be your dog. I want to be your girlfriend, too., Pu Zhi]

Short version:

A rich big sister takes a liking to me. I scoff at the idea of being her dog, then eat my words. I don't just want to be her dog, I want to be her girlfriend. But the rich big sister only wants my body, not my heart. I get my heart broken and want to leave, but every time she crooks her finger, she reels me right back in.

Bonus scene:

I heard Ji Mingyu's first love and the one who got away is coming back.

Her friend mercilessly mocked her. "Oh no, Xiao Zhi, you're about to lose your favorite status."

Pu Zhi protested. "That's nonsense! What kind of person am I? I'm 175 centimeters tall, and I'm a sports student!"

Her friend said, "She's your sweetheart from your first love."

Pu Zhi stubbornly retorted, "I've got defined abs, too!"

Her friend repeated, "She's your sweet-heart, first-love, white-moon-light!"

Pu Zhi's lips trembled. "I... I listen to you, I come whenever you call, and I'm good in bed!"

Her friend repeated, "She's your white-moon-light, first-love, sweet-heart!"

Pu Zhi: "..."

Pu Zhi completely broke down. She ran to Ji Mingyu's place in the middle of the night and let herself in.

"Ji Mingyu, you said you liked my face and my abs... hic... Was that true?!"

Before she could finish, her tears started pouring out, thanks to her uncontrollable crying habit.

Ji Mingyu's shoulder was bare, and the red wine in her glass swayed as her hanging chair rocked. Her eyes blurred with drink as she teased Pu Zhi cruelly. "It was true, but that was back then."

Thunderstruck, Pu Zhi fought back her tears and shouted, "I knew it! Ji Mingyu, you really are fickle!"

"Who says I'm not?" The woman stretched out an arm, her fingertip brushing Pu Zhi's reddened eyes. "But seeing you so pitiful now makes me want to cherish you even more."

"Then will you choose me or... hic, her?"

The woman tilted her head back and drained her glass, sealing Pu Zhi's lips with her own.
