The Little Wretch Came Back from the Apocalypse

[Blurb to be revised] Jiang Xu spent ten years in the apocalypse killing zombies, then woke up back in his old life. That's when he learned he was the tragic male supporting character in a novel, and that his every fall from grace was meant to highlight the white-lotus protagonist. The moment he opened his eyes, he saw his aunt and uncle's family standing by his hospital bed, scolding him as they coveted his parents' inheritance. Aunt: Ungrateful brat! Jiang Xu: I'm hungry. Uncle: You have no gratitude! You don't respect your elders! Jiang Xu: I want food. His cousin said viciously, "You still want to eat? Starve to death!" Jiang Xu slowly lifted his head and rolled up his sleeves. It took him three minutes to explain things with his fists. His aunt and uncle went off to buy him food, while his cousin knelt by the bed as a hostage. Ten minutes later, Jiang Xu was enjoying his first delicious meal since coming back. His aunt and uncle watched in terror as he cried over a bowl of noodles, then huddled together and trembled. Jiang Xu: These noodles are so good, sob. I'll never have to eat bugs again. *Wipes away tears* * People at school noticed that Jiang Xu had changed. He used to follow the school heartthrob around like a puppy, but now... The heartthrob argued with his boyfriend, and Jiang Xu wasn't there. The heartthrob got hurt in a fight, and Jiang Xu wasn't there. The heartthrob broke up with his boyfriend, and Jiang Xu still wasn't there. Then someone found out he was doing mukbangs on a streaming platform and sent a message telling him the heartthrob had been injured. Jiang Xu froze. The person secretly sneered, thinking Jiang Xu really was still the same pathetic loser. Then he heard Jiang Xu say, "Boss, bring me two more portions of lamb spine!" Jiang Xu smiled at the camera. "Something good happened today, so I can eat a few hundred million more bites." * Jiang Xu found a puppy that had run away from home. He thought he'd raise it like a little brother for fun, but he never expected the puppy to grow up and develop improper feelings for his older brother.
