The Leopard Came, and the Leopard Won't Leave

*The Constantines are a family of unmatched bloodline and status. Everyone bows before them, and they are the undisputed royal family. In the year 4089 of the interstellar era, the starship carrying the last few members of the Constantine family exploded, leaving behind only a black egg. Decades passed, and the egg showed no sign of hatching. Just as the Grand Marshal sorrowfully held the egg and was about to announce that the Constantine bloodline had ended, a clumsy tapping sound came from inside it. Everyone: !!! *The Constantines are all born from eggs. Among them are dragons covered in spikes, lions with sharp horns on their heads, and giant serpents whose bodies are covered in venom glands. Every last one is a figure to be admired and feared. As they cared for the last egg in the Constantine family, the people of the interstellar era imagined what this Constantine would look like. He would surely have horns all over his head, a tail that could smash steel with ease, and thick, curly red hair... He would surely lead the people of the stars to explore a vaster world! But inside this precious, eagerly anticipated, most fearsome Constantine egg lay a palm-sized white fluffball. After meeting the little fluffball's round, black eyes, which only made him look more innocent, Everyone: So... so ferociously adorable \\(//v//)\\ *Overnight, Bai Qiu gained a whole crowd of parents and many things he'd never had before. But he still insisted on going out to find food by himself. Bai Qiu patted his round belly. "If you can't catch food someday, Qiuqiu can catch some for you!" His parents: Sob, sweet Qiuqiu! *To calm the interstellar people's excitement, the authorities decided to livestream an hour of the leopard cub's daily life every day. Bai Qiu: Surely there aren't that many people who like me, right? QAQ On the first day of the livestream, the interstellar network's streaming room crashed for the first time because too many people had logged on. Later, Bai Qiu became an interstellar treasure beyond dispute, and his merchandise was even sold to other planets by his devoted fans. One day, an alien diplomat stood before Bai Qiu. The diplomat pointed to his collar. "Hello, I'm your fan. Could you give me your autograph?" Bai Qiu: (≧~≦) Later still, several members of the Constantine family who had supposedly died in that accident returned, and spoiled the little fluffball absolutely rotten. [I've changed the premise since I ran out of ideas for the previous one. This time it's settled: the protagonist is still a little seal pup (a harp seal, the fluffy white kind). From now on, I'll only change the blurb, not the premise. [Bows.JPG]] Theme: Every soul shines brightly.
