[Crossover] On the Compatibility Between Sports Anime and the Supernatural

Matsuzaki Aoi had a childhood friend who joined the basketball club in middle school. She also had a boy who lived across the hall, whom she'd known since they were kids. Later, he went off to Kanagawa to play tennis.

Aoi had thought her life would be an utterly ordinary slice-of-life story, but she never expected it to be...

She went to watch her childhood friend's game, and her middle-school friend, in a bad mood, dunked the ball straight through a hoop three meters high.

Aoi: ?

She went to watch the boy from across the hall play, and halfway through the game, he suddenly switched personalities and pinned his opponent down, pounding his face.

Aoi: ???

Oh, and she also had a secret identity as a master of swoony shoujo manga, while her deskmate was a total block of wood. And when she walked down the street, she might suddenly run into some weirdo with flames on his head...

Aoi: I get it now. This is a fantasy story. Great, then let me try my Rasengan Bankai...

Aoi: It didn't work. Maybe my Evil Eye hasn't awakened yet...

Everyone else: Are you crazy?!

A few notes before reading:

The revival of old fandoms is the best! There wasn't enough to read, so I had to write it myself, sob sob sob.

The main focus is sports and everyday life, like Kuroko's Basketball, The Prince of Tennis, and Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun.

Unless something unexpected happens, the love interest is the childhood friend.

Theme: Youth is the best!
