The Nine Heavens of the Immortal Realm

The Immortal Realm has nine tiers, and each one is a pitfall.

If you're born in the Immortal Realm, does that mean you can ascend to immortality in one leap and become a winner in life?

Try being born a weakling, orphaned at three, and trained by your sect through a crash course. Half a day later, you leave the beginner's village and become the sect's odd-job girl. Any dog in the sect is stronger than you. That's what I call winning at life.

Ling Ran has put together a few tips for staying alive, for the benefit of future newcomers who, through misfortune, enter the Immortal Realm with nothing to their name.

First, you need decent aptitude to have any chance of being accepted into a sect.

Next, you have to withstand the effects of Dream Incense.

What's Dream Incense? It's the Immortal Realm's fast-track child-rearing method.

After a young child inhales the incense, a wisp of their soul is sent into the vast mortal world, where they experience life and death.

Only those who return without forgetting who they are and quickly regain their senses are qualified to do odd jobs for a sect.

Finally, there are two words you must never forget, even if you die: Stay low.

Don't despair when you're weak, don't get carried away when things go your way, don't even blink when the sky falls. Be excellent at running away, and if you can manage all that, you might just survive in the Immortal Realm.

If you can't, don't worry about it. You can always reincarnate. Hopefully, next time you won't end up in the Immortal Realm again.

I'm entering the paid section tomorrow! Thank you, my dears, for your support ^O^

Coming next: The Story of Becoming an Insect

Is there anything worse in life than facing the apocalypse and dying young?

Yes. Dying young and then turning into a bug.

Chen Shu looks at his forelimbs... limbs, tipped with gleaming black blades,

and four equally shiny black... (+﹏+)~ hind legs.

A thousand curses run through his mind.

In broad daylight, countless giant bugs suddenly fall from the sky.

The battle for survival begins, while all of humanity stares in bafflement.

Chen Shu was human before his nap. When he wakes up, he's a bug.

He looks over his imposing appearance and his underlings.

Well, a bug is still a bug. Wherever I end up, I'll make waves.

Please add this to your favorites and show it a little support, my dears ^O^
