The Unscientific Supernatural Casebook of the Detective Conan World

Updates paused. I'll save up chapters and release them all at once when the story is finished. I'm stuck.

[Literary]

An immortal, deathless girl who survived by eating mermaid flesh

travels far and wide to find the lost mermaids and fulfill the mountain god's wish.

She caught a glimpse of fate,

but as a listener, she has no right to change it.

It seems like a game, and she is one of its players.

A life that has witnessed darkness for a long time yearns intensely for the light.

She longs for sunshine and loves the vitality of living things.

Going from an observer to a protector is a difficult step.

[Free-spirited]

As an immortal who could never die, Imagawa had witnessed every birth and death. Then she happened to run into a strange elementary school student.

Her already tenuous social life became entangled with his when the mermaid Imagawa was searching for suddenly came into the picture. The last mermaid had vanished, and unless they found her, they couldn't send the mountain god home.

So Imagawa had no choice but to stop standing on the sidelines. Instead of cruelly teasing the elementary school student, she joined in the whole affair.

But... it seemed she could no longer stay out of it.

Content warnings:

1. Ran will get a Shinichi, but Conan belongs to the heroine.

2. Mainly Detective Conan and Vampire Princess Miyu, with a crossover with Hell Girl and a few elements from Mermaid Forest.

3. Pairing: Conan.

4. The story focuses on cases, most of them original. The author's intelligence is limited, so please overlook any plot holes. If you have a problem, please be gentle.

5. Updates weekly, barring unforeseen circumstances. I won't abandon the story, and there will be at least one update a week. Comments are welcome. If there are lots of reviews, I'll add chapters. The exact details will be decided after the story starts.

5. Side pairing: Rava x Miyu.

6. Some aspects of Imagawa's character are inspired by Sakamoto, like not being able to see people's real names and acting cool, haha.
