[Next novel: The Villain Begged Me Not to Seek Death]
"I long for someone to love me fiercely, unconditionally, and until death do us part."
As you wish.
A series of stories about female cannon fodder who are gloomy, useless, insecure, disabled, lovesick, or crazy, and have no enthusiasm for life. They lie flat and wait for their male bodhisattvas to bring them warmth. The male leads are all nonhuman creatures. These are daydream romances, pure, sweet little love stories.
Stories planned so far:
1. Gentle, scheming mute cannon-fodder girl x silly, handsome snake demon
After my childhood friend betrayed me, a little snake demon disguised himself as him and came to my room to steal something?
2. Reborn, gloomy, and crazy female side character x devoted husband and father, merman daddy
After becoming a miserable grouch, all I wanted was to destroy the world, but then a male merman latched onto me...
3. Monster NPC in an unlimited-flow dungeon x omniscient, omnipotent evil god (Lovecraftian world, check the warnings first)
It's exhausting wearing a human's beautiful skin. As a monster, I'm perfectly content lying around in an ugly heap, but why has the Lord God followed me here?!
4. Foolish, useless fake-sunshine heroine x easygoing genius tree demon
Even if it's only once, I really want to succeed. I really want to become a genius...
Help, I didn't mean to become a genius at romance!
Reader's guide and content warnings:
The cover art was gifted by Bishui Gugu, illustrated by Qi Jiuzi.
Each volume is a separate story with different leads. For specific content warnings, see the second chapter of that volume.
These are daydream stories. If they're not for you, please leave, and don't be mean.
I'm tired of writing stories where people consult psychologists to win over villainous men. I just want to write a healing sweet romance where a male bodhisattva saves a poor soul.
Next novel: The Villain Begged Me Not to Seek Death
Ke Xiyin is a rebellious, lazy, miserable grouch.
Not only is she depressed herself, but after transmigrating into a book, she drags other people into it too.
The System tells her to follow the plot and treat the badly injured villain, Jiu Yaosheng.
Ke Xiyin goes up to Jiu Yaosheng and asks, "Junior Brother, why are you so set on living? Wouldn't it be better to die?"
The villain doesn't understand. She stuffs his mouth with pills, then turns around and jumps into a river to kill herself.
Jiu Yaosheng forces himself into the water to rescue her, and is sick for another three months.
The System urges her to care for the villain, who is on the verge of death.
After five minutes of hard work, Ke Xiyin brings Jiu Yaosheng a bowl of liquor steeped with spirit fruit.
The villain refuses to drink, so she gulps it down herself, then crashes into the villain's bed, bowl and all.
Coughing blood, Jiu Yaosheng gets up to make her a hangover remedy, then spends another half month in bed.
The System creates an opportunity for her and the villain to grow closer.
They are alone beneath the flowers and moon, and the mood is just right.
Ke Xiyin takes the villain's hand and asks with a solemn expression, "Junior Brother, would you like to die with me?"
The villain, whom she has already tormented into becoming a health-conscious husband: "...Drink this bowl of sweet soup before you ask."

Ke Xiyin was once a heaven-sent genius who could cleave mountains and rivers with a single sword. Now she's become a shameless good-for-nothing.
Everyone mourns her decline, and thinks she's disgusting.
Jiu Yaosheng thinks so too.
At first, he deliberately approached Ke Xiyin and tried to please her, solely to use her to exact his revenge.
Later, learning how much suffering she had endured, he was willing to put aside his violent ways and cook for her, asking only that Ke Xiyin live well.
In the end, he failed to get his revenge and instead became fuel for his enemy's daughter to ascend to immortality. As his heart was cut out, his bones carved away, his soul extracted, and his blood replaced, all he could think was that at least he hadn't dragged his senior sister into this.
But before his consciousness faded, he saw his senior sister, scorned by everyone, split open the Immortal Gate with one sword strike and crush the Heavenly Stairway with her bare hands. Amid the crowd, she looked up at the resplendent Heavenly Dao.
Her compassionate face was like that of a true god.
She gathered up his soul, stood on the bodies of his enemies, and shouted to the heavens, "Jiu Yaosheng said he wanted revenge, he wanted to ascend to immortality. Can't you freaking hear him?"
Jiu Yaosheng: "???"
[Looks like a gloomy, twisted villain consumed by hatred, but is actually a soft-hearted, health-conscious husband x Looks like a miserable good-for-nothing, but is actually a powerful, rebellious heroine]
Theme: Existing means having value, and being worthy of love.
