Help! How do I deal with my ten-year best friend, who's a lunatic and wants to be with me "forever"?

From the moment they first met ten years ago, Yusaku Kudo knew that Soga Utsunomiya was insane, and that he would be entangled with this madman for the rest of his life.

At eighteen, Soga Utsunomiya set a manor and everyone inside it ablaze. At twenty-seven, Yusaku Kudo chose to watch with cold indifference. He knew the boy wouldn't live much longer, but he never imagined Soga Utsunomiya would spend ten years plotting an elaborate funeral for himself.

Though they had only met a handful of times, the two never stopped scheming against each other, until the gears of fate began to turn.

In the first year of Conan's story, Soga Utsunomiya returned to Japan, to the homeland he hadn't set foot in for years, and launched a plan to overthrow the Organization.

An ambiguous relationship with the Organization's boss, secret deals with the upper ranks of law enforcement, and a vast intelligence network hidden beneath the public world...

This is a story of the Black Organization's victory, of justice being redeemed, of a famous detective reconciling with the darkness, and of everything and everyone except Soga Utsunomiya finding their "happy ending"...

Shinichi Kudo was baffled. While following a suspect in a case, someone had knocked him out from behind again. Of course, they hadn't drugged him.

When he woke up, his body hadn't shrunk either. He was just locked inside a bookstore.

But when he got out, he discovered that in less than a week, his dad had already gone through the entire process of cheating (he hadn't), getting divorced, and leaving with nothing. And the Organization had been destroyed!

Rei Furuya received an email from the Organization's boss. It informed him that a mysterious figure codenamed Dark Star had arrived in Japan and gained command over every codename-bearing member of the Organization in Tokyo.

When he went to the Kudo residence to exchange information, he learned that Conan Edogawa had mysteriously disappeared, and that Dark Star was a friend of Yusaku Kudo's.

The Organization fell much sooner than expected, even though the Japanese Public Security Bureau, represented by him, took part in that brutal operation.

Only later, he could no longer take part in further operations against the Organization on behalf of Japanese Public Security. He was still Rei Furuya, but no longer Rei Furuya in the same sense. Or rather, for a long time to come, he would be more accustomed to being called Bourbon.

This is a love story? about a doting, seductive, outwardly pure but inwardly dark Yusaku and a powerful intelligence chief from the underworld who collaborates with the Organization.

Soga's identity is revealed in Chapter Three of the extra story, "A Past That Was Created."

Also, some scenes in this story may be rather dramatic, with certain aspects exaggerated by the author. Some readers may find them absurd or jarring.

A friendly warning: Don't believe a single word the protagonist says, including his inner thoughts. The same goes for Yusaku.

Near the ending, there is an absolutely insane plot twist. It's flagged before the relevant chapter, but I'm adding it here too.

Content warnings: The protagonist is not a good person, is not a good person, is not a good person.

Soga is a classic beautiful, powerful, tragic character: gentle, aloof, noble, and composed. But in reality, he is selfish, hypocritical, and arrogant, a yandere and an absolute lunatic. He also likes to exploit his own "tragic past" to win other people's sympathy and trust.

Yusaku is scheming, very scheming. There are lots of original character details, so you can think of him as someone else.

Major characters on the Red side will switch sides later on.

Yusaku and Yukiko's relationship has original character details. There is no romance between them; they're putting on an act the whole time.

Note: This is fan fiction, so the characters will definitely be out of character. Please don't apply this to the original characters.

None of the main characters have sound values. A character's values do not represent the author's. Readers with poor judgment should read with caution.

This story contains potentially mildly disturbing portrayals of romance. Minors should read with caution.

If you can't accept this kind of story, please don't read it.

First there was Kitagawa Kaede, an idol who was dragged into the Organization and tortured. His hand was ruined, his face disfigured, and he was forced into drug addiction. In the end, he even lost his life.

As for Gin, he's either impossible to track down or spending his days at the research facility getting close to Shiho. The first thing he did after learning Kaede was dead was destroy his belongings.

Then there was Kitagawa Rin, once a spoiled young master who lived a life of luxury and indulgence. He raced cars, gambled, and went clubbing every day, but he lived freely and happily, and even had a wealthy heiress as his fiancee.

Then, out of sheer bad luck, he met Gin. His engagement party turned into a shootout, and his family nearly lost everything. In the end, he was worn down until he was completely spent, with nothing left to do but wait to die.

As for why Amuro Tooru knows all this so well, that must remain a secret for now.
