I played a game.
There are no save files. You can create ten accounts in total, and when a character is used up, you have to quit. While other players used all sorts of secret identities to turn the world upside down, I turned the game into a multirun replay.
Ten accounts meant I could restart the game ten times, for ten runs in all. Each time I restarted, all the NPCs refreshed, with no memory of my previous playthroughs. The only things that carried over were my experience and skills.
After being killed by NPCs again and again, I completely let loose. My moves were dazzling, and I fully embraced my role as a troublemaker.
I died again and restarted the game.
Only this time, something seemed off about the NPCs.
Scotch: "How could I possibly be an undercover agent?"
