This Dating Show Doesn't Follow Science

Matchmaker's Lucky Draw is a dating show, but it was blasted by netizens as soon as it came out. Other dating shows have love coaches analyze people's psyches and matchmakers bring couples together. But this dating show has fortune-telling coaches doing quick metaphysical calculations and using spells to analyze people's romantic fates. Netizens were furious: Director, are you okay? Are you okay? You're raising love rivals like poison insects while everyone else is dating, huh? But after the show aired... The Matchmaker's spirit lot determines your fate, birth charts expose scumbags, and true love is written in the stars... Netizens: W-what do we do? It actually seems kind of accurate? Among the many fortune-tellers, fate readers, and poison-insect masters gathered on the show, the most outstanding is an obscure young Daoist priest. Yu Hechuan, the founding patriarch of a sect from a thousand years ago, is reborn as a penniless young Daoist priest who can barely afford food. With his incredible metaphysical skills, he becomes a sensation in the entertainment industry! On the show: Guest: Master, please show me the way! Off the show: Netizens: Damn! How do I book an appointment with this master? I'm desperate, please help! Lu Jingxiu, a top-tier star from a wealthy family who has always kept his distance from talk of ghosts and spirits and never believed in metaphysics, unexpectedly accepts an invitation to appear on Matchmaker's Lucky Draw. Having always scoffed at metaphysics, he walks up to the young Daoist priest with a serious expression. "I had someone read my birth chart and compare our horoscopes. You're the one destined for me!"
