Only I'm a Naive Sweetheart

1

The head of the Yan family dies unexpectedly, and amid the chaos, Yan Youxia, the eldest legitimate daughter, takes over as head of the family.

Though Yan Youxia is the eldest legitimate daughter, she is not favored. Everyone in the household, from the concubines and young ladies to the coachmen and low-ranking maids, has insulted her.

The first thing Yan Youxia does after taking power is get rid of all the women her father left behind.

But she never expected that her father was attracted to both men and women, and that the rear courtyard held a young man whose voice had gone hoarse from shouting.

The young man is fair-skinned and beautiful. When Yan Youxia wants tea, he brings it; when she wants to hear an opera, he sings. When she wants him to...

Who knows if he'll agree?

Wen Feichen is the son of the Wen family, the very family that can no longer make a living because the Yan family has squeezed them out of the river transport business.

His father has little interest in taking back their river routes, so Wen Feichen has to do it himself.

Before he leaves, a friend gives him a book, claiming it contains all the strategies in the world. Wen Feichen now has both the book and the talent to use it. He simply never expected something to go wrong on the way.

The head of the Yan family abducts him and takes him home.

After the head of the Yan family dies, the eldest legitimate daughter, Yan Youxia, decides to dismiss everyone from the rear courtyard. Wen Feichen opens the book. Its strategies are rather peculiar, but he grits his teeth and puts them into practice anyway.

Later, his friend realizes that he gave Wen Feichen the book he had been using to pursue his own sweetheart. The real book of strategies is still with him.

This is outrageous. He gallops to the Yan estate, arriving just in time for Yan Youxia's wedding. The person marrying her is none other than Wen Feichen.
