Imprisoned

A Man was a crown princess nobody liked. The people in the palace loathed and mocked her, and stories making fun of her were always circulating in the capital. But the Crown Prince loved her very much. He comforted her, saying it was all right, because it was enough that he liked her. A Man thought he was right. Her husband wielded power over the court and loved her dearly. He arranged everything for her, so each day she only had to wait for him to come home, love him, and drink her medicinal soup. She endured every unhappiness and remembered only the happy times she shared with her husband. Back when she had yet to remember anything. A Man thought her life was neither good nor bad. But one day, her medicinal soup failed to arrive on time. And she remembered everything. It turned out she was a swallow in the sky, not a sparrow in a cage. It turned out she wasn't someone nobody liked. This place simply wasn't her homeland. Her homeland was gone, destroyed by her loving husband himself. And the love and favor he supposedly showered on her were things she had once disdained. She had been deceived. The husband who had destroyed everything she had and deceived her for half her life approached her slowly, holding a jade bowl. His handsome, refined face wore a helpless yet indulgent smile as he softly said, "Manman, be good. Forget all those unhappy things."
