How I Conquered the World of Detective Fiction with an NPC System

Miyazaki Sogai is an orphan with no past and no future. To survive, he enters the police academy and unexpectedly becomes bound to the "NPC System." At first, Miyazaki Sogai sees the white names appearing above every character's head and concludes that the System's function is to identify people. Then one day, at a crime scene, he clearly sees the word "murderer" above a passerby's head, and Miyazaki Sogai gets it. His exceptional crime-solving skills make Miyazaki Sogai an unsurpassed milestone. Just as he thinks his future will be devoted to upholding justice, Miyazaki Sogai sees the label [Ability: No Longer Human] above a certain bandage-wearing guy, the alert [True Identity: High School Detective] above a certain elementary school student, and the prompt [Multiple Identities] above a certain cafe waiter. Miyazaki Sogai is dumbfounded. So the System can evolve, too? Later, after seeing the prompt above his own head in the mirror, he realizes that the System isn't actually a System, and he isn't himself, either. Theme: Uphold justice and seek the truth
