Welcome to the Nazarick Funeral Home

[Volume 1 begins with Chapter 21. The timing is undecided; I'll try to post a 10,000-word update on launch day.] I, Ainz Ooal Gown, absolute ruler of Nazarick, transmigrated once more, bringing the whole family along. This time, we'd arrived in a “pure” human world. To activate my “family” and survive in the new world by legitimate means, I had to run the funeral home assigned to me by the game... The new world is strange, like one huge murder-mystery game. A new murder case appears every day. To adapt to my new job, I partnered with some rich “elementary school student,” and resurrected some local residents to work as staff. For example: a monk who doesn't seem like a monk, a driver who doesn't seem like a driver... But... Just because I resurrected you why are all of you coming to me to look for your best friends? Nazarick does not welcome humans. There's a company in Tokyo that has made its funeral business bigger and better. Legend has it that you'll find everything you've lost there. Also known as: The Nazarick Family's Journey Through Modern Society [A recovery project. The plot moves slowly; it's a trope I personally enjoy.] A recommendation for a friend's ongoing novel. The full manuscript is complete, so updates are guaranteed: After Failing to Pass as a Bystander in the Detective World, book number 10778990. A plot-focused, sweet story from the male lead's perspective: a mystery novelist who somehow makes everyone around him jump to conclusions, and a pure romance with a former FBI agent. Theme: Striving to make a living
