Ten years after marrying, Kong Sanniang is poisoned to death by her husband.
When she wakes, she has returned to age sixteen, just as she is discussing a marriage proposal with a young man from the Liu family.
Seeing her husband from her previous life again makes her sick.
Unable to refuse the match, she finally begs a butcher to marry her instead.
The butcher has had three wives, but he is fair-skinned and handsome, as well as strong and muscular.
She falls for him in secret and pledges herself to him.
People say she used a favor to force her way into a good marriage, and that the butcher must hate her terribly.
No one knows that every night the butcher is like a ravenous wolf, never satisfied, even calling out "Yunniang, Yunniang" in his sleep.
To others, she is Kong Sanniang.
To him, she is his Yunniang alone.
---Little scenes---
One year after the wedding
"Butcher Hua, why isn't your wife selling her pancakes at her stall today?"
The usually unsociable butcher smiles. "She's at home resting during her pregnancy."
Another year later
"Butcher Hua, your wife isn't selling pancakes today either? Another one on the way?"
The man points to the shop across the street, its doors flung wide. "My wife has opened a pancake shop."
"Well, look at that! What a capable woman. Butcher Hua, you're a lucky man."
The man smiles, wraps up a pig's trotter, and takes it across the street.
"She really is my good fortune."
A few things to know:
* A small, cozy, sweet story set among the streets and lanes of a town.
* The male lead has an endearing contrast: a fierce butcher outside, but soft as dough at home. The early chapters include a little of the female lead's life at home before she marries, so please skip this if that's not your thing.
* An alternate setting. The female lead has no particularly powerful golden finger; she mainly makes pancakes of all kinds.
* "A good life is built through hard work," says the female lead.

That's it, that's it. Where's the kid? Where's the bakery?
Hug me big, life will get better
It ended so suddenly, I couldn't get enough of it
So Liu Jialang couldn't give birth, so how did Fang Sanniang's child come about.
Good luck, Dada, waiting for you
After waiting for so long, I was disappointed, thinking that the article I was following was a scam again. I was worried, and the author stopped updating when the accident happened. At that moment, I prayed that even the author would give up. As long as people are good, that's fine. I haven't deleted it from the list yet, and I'll check back after a while to see if it's been updated. I think this can confirm that a person is good. Saw the conversation today. Very nice!
Where did Liu Jialang's child come from if he couldn't give birth to Fang Sanhua?
Sure enough, evil people will have their own troubles.
I like this kind of plain and simple writing that makes people yearn for life, just like what my friend said before.
I found this update as soon as it went online! It still feels familiar, and the writing is really good. Although it is a tedious matter that parents have shortcomings in, it always makes people feel that there is a bright future ahead! I hope that my wife has adjusted her offline life, just like what is written in the book, always looking forward, there is always light.
