(Gravity Falls MaBill) The Silent Lucifer

A Gravity Falls fanfic, picking up after the animated series.

Twelve-year-old Dipper and Mabel have finished their thrilling and dangerous summer. Their shared brushes with death have made them grow up quickly. Perhaps they'll realize they really are becoming more mature, and develop a deeper bond than other ordinary twins.

After their parents take them back to the city, they naturally begin middle school and promise their uncles that they'll return to Gravity Falls for winter break.

But of course, nothing that happened during that summer when they were twelve can ever be erased from their memories.

The triangular demon Bill Cipher still haunts their dreams. Whenever they try to relax and enjoy a brief moment of peace, the cold sweat that wakes them from their nightmares reminds the twins that this golden demon will never disappear, binding their souls like a thorn-covered bramble.

Theme: The cold-blooded killer is coming for you.
