Li Hao Is Not You

Li Hao was partying with his goofy roommates, cosplaying as an ethereal immortal from a xianxia novel. The next second, he transmigrated and became a real cultivator. Even the plastic sword he'd bought at a toy store for thirty yuan to complete his costume turned real. Even if he'd suddenly become a cultivator, and even if his sword had become real, that didn't mean he could just fight monsters out of nowhere! That's not fair! Where is this place?! What language is that monster speaking? Japanese? He can't understand it!!! Li Hao panicked. Li Hao got angry. Li Hao swung his immortal sword and hacked the flailing man-eating demon to death. Well, whatever. The four of them had been partying together, so judging by the situation, they'd all transmigrated together. He'd just find his godsons here. After waiting in the same spot for months without seeing a single one of them, Li Hao decided to go look for them himself. He walked and walked. This era clearly wasn't modern, either, and the language barrier made things difficult for him. For the past few years, an organization called the Demon Slayer Corps had kindly taken him in. To repay them, he'd done his best to fight the man-eating monsters alongside his friends. But after killing a particularly ugly, shapeshifting monster that kept howling, his boss suddenly told him the Demon Slayer Corps had disbanded? Fortunately, his boss was a good person. He and his son agreed to let Li Hao stay with them until he found his roommates. Li Hao missed his roommates dearly, speaking in his hometown dialect: "Where the hell are those little brats?" "What are you even saying?" asked Geto Suguru, who had just been pinned down before he could attack an ordinary person. "Can you speak Japanese?" "Shut up, you idiot! Sit tight and wait for the police. Make another peep and I'll 'sine' you!" Content warnings: 1. Written on a whim. Updates are irregular, and it may very well be abandoned (marked in bold red). The plot is written for laughs, so don't overthink it. 2. It may very well be abandoned! (Repeated for emphasis.) 3. I wrote this on a whim to pass the time while co-writing with a friend.
