The group wakes from the circular device and is delighted to learn that it was all just their leader's battle plan. They hurry to the forest to see their esteemed leader, only to find that the leader who emerged from the coffin has turned back into an eighteen-year-old boy.

Warning:

This is a crossover between Katekyo Hitman Reborn! and Detective Conan, with Reborn as the main focus.

It may not be very friendly to Detective Conan readers, as it might challenge some of Detective Conan's values. (P.S. Though I'm also a Detective Conan fan, I don't agree with some of its values. This is just my personal interpretation, not a universal opinion, so please don't argue with me. I think Detective Conan's values are too black and white. The purpose of this story is to make him realize that gray areas exist in the world, that neither an act nor a person has to be purely good or evil, and that even those who live in darkness deserve to have light.)

Author's notes:

This ten-years-later timeline follows the original's growth trajectory for 27: the succession ceremony and the Rainbow Representative Battle have already taken place.

After Reborn's curse is lifted, he grows up again at a normal rate.

Gamma survives.

CP: All27 underlying premise, mainly R27. Based on the plot I'm considering so far, most All27 relationships will be platonic (though I'm not sure yet). There may be some more-than-friends descriptions for 6927, mainly from 69's side. I'll never get tired of the light-and-shadow trope. I also really want to play around with 10027, the sworn-enemy trope? (Is that what you'd call it?)

G27 | Out of Sync

I've been obsessed with writing G27 lately, but when I looked over all my abandoned projects, I burst into tears.

So I'll just leave this here for now.

Main pairing: G27, with an All27 underlying premise.

Hit by the Ten-Year Bazooka again, Tsuna lies flat in the familiar space-time tunnel.

But what is this?

Among the people in old-fashioned clothes passing before him are newsboys straight out of a European period drama. The snatches of Italian he hears are thick with regional accents. Everything is so unfamiliar.

The Ten-Year Bazooka has broken again and again.

Tsuna reaches his conclusion in 0.01 seconds.

Tsuna's first meeting with Giotto feels like a fateful encounter woven together with theatrical coincidence.

Sitting on a brown leather sofa, Tsuna crosses his legs out of habit, making full use of the height he gained in a sudden, forced growth spurt.

Across from him, Giotto watches the newcomer sitting there at ease, frowning. If Giotto hadn't personally carried the dazed young man out of the enemy's heavily guarded encirclement, he would probably have vanished from this world by now.

"How are your injuries?"

"Thank you for saving me. I appreciate your concern."

A dislocated timeline, a distant conversation, and probing words like clashing blades.

"Who do you think I am, Giotto?"

"I won't betray you. At least in this era, I exist because of you."

Turning the dull ring in his hand, Tsuna lets out a helpless, lonely sigh in the dark night. "It's a little lonely with none of you here."

"Uncle Kawahira really went too far with his joke this time."

When I get back, I'm tearing down his real estate company.
