Hit by the Ten-Year Bazooka once again, Tsunayoshi lies flat in the familiar time tunnel.
But what's going on here?
Among the passersby in old-fashioned clothes, he spots a newspaper boy straight out of a European period drama. The bits of Italian he hears are thick with local accents. Everything feels strange.

Tsunayoshi makes the call in 0.01 seconds.

Tsunayoshi's first meeting with Giotto feels like a tangled mix of fate and drama.
Sitting on a brown leather sofa, Tsunayoshi crosses his legs out of habit, making full use of the height he'd shot up to in a sudden, forced growth spurt.
Across from him, Giotto frowns at the young man's composure. If Giotto hadn't personally brought him out of an enemy encirclement full of danger, the young man, barely conscious, might have disappeared from the world already.
"How are your injuries?"
"Thank you for saving me. I appreciate the trouble you've gone to."
A time out of joint, a distant conversation, probing words like points of a blade.
"Who do you think I am, Giotto?"
"I won't betray you. At least in this era, I exist because of you."

Turning the dull ring over in his hand, Tsunayoshi lets out a helpless, lonely sigh in the dark. "It's a little lonely with all of you gone."
"Uncle Kawahira really took the joke too far this time."
