Nobody ever told Jason that death could lead to another world, complete with a System.
Jason, the former second Robin, died at fifteen and ended up in another world, where he was bound to some completely unreliable System.
System 357: Hello, dear Host! Congratulations, you've been lucky enough to get bound to me! Please complete the mission [Establish a Superhero League]!
Jason: ?? Wait a second. Explain what I'm supposed to establish first?
System 357: Dear Host, I know this mission is difficult. After all, not just anyone can be a superhero. But don't give up! I'll do everything I can to help you!
Jason, expressionless: ...Oh.

[Character obtained: Man of Tomorrow]
[Calculating compatibility...]
[Compatibility: 70%]
System 357: ? Did I strike gold? I've never seen compatibility this high before.
[Man of Tomorrow]
Curses rampage. His companions lie fallen. The sole surviving sorcerer sinks into despair.
“I don't care who it is. Why? Why has nobody ever come to save us?”
A scarlet cape cuts across the sky! A body of steel smashes every curse to pieces! A man as handsome as the god Apollo reaches out to him.
“You called for help, so I came.”
[Wonder Woman]
The compassionate Amazon princess mourns for her suffering people.
A girl strapped with a bomb screams in despair: “I really don't want to kill anyone anymore!”
A golden Lasso of Truth pulls her into a warm embrace, while a divine shield blocks every attack.
“Don't be afraid, my child. Go ahead and do what you want.”
[The Dark Knight]
A bat guards the city at night. No crime escapes his notice.
A white-clad phantom thief drops from the sky, trying to steal a dazzling jewel, only to find every escape route blocked.
“What the hell? Why are the cops so smart today?”
A black cape appears out of nowhere, driving the thief away with an air of authority.
“Protecting this city is my mission.”
Lately, all sorts of people in tights have been flying around Neon City. They selflessly help others and call themselves the Superhero League.
They bring clarity to a murky world and light to those in despair.
They share one name: superheroes!
System 357: “How did you get such high compatibility and roleplay scores?”
Jason: Hey, we're all on the same side. I know these people pretty well.
“Wait! Why is my compatibility with the Dark Knight so low? Impossible! Absolutely impossible!”

~Synopsis~
Curtis never had a family.
Not before.
Not ever.
Curtis had never known warmth. She died on a cold winter's day, then was lucky enough to arrive in a new world.
When she opened her eyes, a terrifying, emaciated woman was floating before her. Beside them lay a man who had shot himself.
Curtis tilted her head and tentatively asked, “Mom?”
The woman's sharp fingers stilled. Then she tossed Curtis a date.
Curtis took the woman's skeletal hand and stubbornly called her, “Mom.”
Mom looked terrifying, but Curtis loved her dearly.
But her happiness ended abruptly. Two people claiming to be exorcists drove her mother away, and Curtis was sent to a new family.
Something was wrong with her new family.
A beautiful but cruel older sister, an adorable but eerie younger brother, and what seemed to be a twisted pet hidden in the house.
Faced with her bizarre, twisted new family, Curtis smiled in satisfaction.
Wonderful. A family.
She needed a family.
She deserved a complete, happy home.
So.
She broke her sister's hand to make her gentle.
She killed her brother's dog to make him obedient.
She cut her pet's hair short to make her docile and clingy.
Finally, she found her mother again and, right in front of her, threw away the remains of her mother's real child, making her a mother who belonged to Curtis alone.
Curtis loved her new family. She thought she was the happiest child in the world.
At first, when they were forced to become family, the twisted monsters acted sweet while Curtis was awake, then desperately tried to kill her while she slept.
But later...
The taciturn vine monster would pull out its own heart and hang it by her bedside.
The pale-faced clown would give her a whole room full of red balloons as a surprise.
The mermaid in the sewer would drag her rotting body onto land just to give Curtis the prettiest scale on her body.
In the end, they fought like wild dogs for what little twisted, strange love Curtis had to give.
Content warnings:
1. Characters may be out of character. The story includes lots of author-invented details, so expect OOC moments as a result.
2. Beginner-level writing.
3. The timeline is all over the place.
4. The protagonist isn't ruthless and decisive, and can be a bit of a bleeding heart at times.
5. No romance. Supporting characters mostly feel friendship, admiration, or yearning toward the protagonist, though one-sided crushes may appear later.
6. My take on secret-identity stories. Slow-paced, not a power fantasy, and includes angst, but no major character deaths.
7. Read one chapter at a time, and stop immediately if something feels off.
Theme: Home is the best gift
It sucks. Superman and Wonder Woman are okay, but the rest are not good.
Is there any extra? Woo woo woo...
I really hope there will be more extra TAT, but still, it's all over!
