He'll End Up at the Crematorium

I love someone, and everyone thinks we're a perfect match.

Later, I went blind for him, and he was still willing to marry me.

Marrying him made it feel as if my life hadn't been wasted.

He is a gentle, refined gentleman, and naturally people love him madly.

So

I treated all the rumors as wind blowing past my ears.

Later, Lin Chaosheng often wondered: if he could see clearly,

would he have avoided playing the fool in someone else's story for so long?

He was deceived.

He was humiliated.

No one remembered that he, too, had once been a dashing young man in fine clothes, riding a spirited horse.

The story goes:

Lin Chaosheng's childhood sweetheart loses his memory and is taken in by someone.

When the childhood sweetheart regains his memories, he looks down on that person.

Then he has to chase his wife until the crematorium.

P.S. Third-person POV, angsty, satisfying melodrama.

A similar melodrama: Never Quite the Same

Blurb:

Lin Fu knew that a shattered mirror could not be made whole again, and that spilled water could not be gathered back up. Still, he walked until there was nowhere left to go before making a miserable exit. All the beautiful days of his youth were shattered by the boy he had once loved.

Later, Lin Fu finally understood:

Absolute devotion is nothing more than wishful thinking.

Later, Liu Chenchuan searched all four corners of the wilderness, only to receive this reply: "Revered One, treat him as if he died a hundred years ago."

Theme: Live in the present and work hard at life to build a beautiful future
